Special Treatment for Birthdays?

We have ADR's for the Play n Dine lunch and Prime Time for DInner on Sat for my son's B-day. WHen we booked the ADR's, I did inform them we were celebrating his B-day. What are the chances they will do something special?

We thought about ordering a cake, but it would just go to waste honestly. 1/2 the time he wont eat, and DH and I arent big into sweet stuff. Is there anything else I can arrange to make things more special?

I am not sure what 50's PTC will do for your son's birthday. Maybe remind them when you check in that it is his birthday and he'll recieve a special dessert or cupcake with a candle and they will sing Happy Birthday to him? I am not sure but that may happy.

Prime Time does bring out a cupcake and sing if you let them know in advance (in your reservation or at the podium when you check in!). Also, if you have a good waiter, they may make a bigger deal about it.

Last year for my b-day I also got a 8X10 nice birthday "card" with my name, the title of my celebration, and signatures from Mickey, Minnie, and the gang. I think I got one at Ohana's and at CRT.

1) Most restaurants only do a minor amount for bdays/anniversaries.
2) After all, do you know how many guests have bdays and anniversaries?
3) Most will give you the cupcake.
4) Many will sing or wave napkins or have you stand.
5) Some, like CRT, might put sparkles on the table.
6) A CM might go out of their way to get an autograph card.
7) That's about it

NOTE: If nothing happens, or very little happens, just don't be too disappointed.
