Special things done by restaurants for birthdays??

I have a question-- I have heard that the Coral Reef does some cool things for birthdays-you can get a diver sign and a personalized menu which is really cool. Just wondering if other restaurants out there do cool things that everyone might not be aware of. Thanks!!

We celebrated my youngest nephew's birthday at the Crystal Palace in 2004. The CM came out, sprinkled Mickey confetti all over the table, brought him a cupcake with a candle and a card signed by all the characters. When they did the cupcake all of the characters came to the table and the whole restaurant sang Happy Birthday. He was thrilled!

We just celebrated my DS 5th birthday on May 21 in WDW. The CM's put confetti (Mickey heads) on the table and some restaurants put streamers as well (Crystal Palace). They brought out a cupcake with a candle and sang to him and gave him a card signed by the characters. At Chef Mickey's they gave him a laminated place mat with Chef Mickey's on it and all the signatures of the characters. Nobody sang to him there. The CM forgot to give him his cupcake so ran after us on our way out and gave it to us in a styrofoam cup with a lid.

Last year we were at WDW on my DD's 17th b-day. We had lunch at San Angel Inn where several of the waitstaff sang Happy B-day to her in Spanish and gave her a free dessert. We had dessert at Prime Time Cafe and again our waitress plus one or two others sang to her and she was given a free ice cream dessert. Then that night we had dinner at Whispering Canyon where I had pre-ordered a cake for her. Our waiter made a little announcement and then we all sang Happy Birthday to her.
