Special Surprises you can order?

O.k so I have checked into the cake thing. You can pre-order a cake but it feeds 8-10 people apparently and we are staying at POP and it's only 4 of us so we won't do that. I guess at the podium I can arrange for a small celebration cake for like 12.00 and I may do that one evening.
Are there any other special things that you can do/order pay for that you do to surprise your family while there. I was thinking about ordering something to be delivered to the room but ?? what. The kids are looking forward to shopping so I don't wanna get anything too lavish just like them to have surpises along the way...it's a very special trip for us. We actually contemplated using our wish from Make a Wish for this trip but hate to do that when we medically don't have to at the moment...things are smooth for the time being and knock on wood and all that I hate to count my chickens kind of thing.
ANYhow....just wondering if there are any tips anyone has????
DD is 11 and DS8 so I am thinking they are too old for bibidi bobidi boutique??

I love ordering treat/gift baskets from www.peggyssweetsandmore.com. For my little nephew I have ordered an autograph book, pen, Epcot passport, a special pin and a bean bag for him to sleep with and his favorite candy. It saved me the time having to track down those things before we headed into the park - and Peggy lets you customize the basket - so you control the price! :thumbsup2

Peggy's sweets is a great idea. She is very flexible and you can do something large or small. Most of the other places I checked out were a lot more expensive.

If your family likes to act silly and have a lot of fun, you might consider doing the Family Magic Tour. We had such a great time on this "treasure" hunt. It's something that we will always remember. At the end you get to spend time with 1 or 2 characters and it's really cool.

I hope your family has a magical vacation!! pixiedust: WDW is such a wonderful place!

Here is a link to a thread that had lots of comments about the tour...

wonderful service! very friendly. she will do right by you. take a look at her site, and start planning a wonderful gift basket to be delivered to your resort.

happy planning!

I wholeheartedly recommend Peggy also. She is fantastic. We are going to be at POFQ this Saturday and I designed a basket with her to be delivered to us at the hotel. She was so helpful and friendly. I will never use anyone else again for any of my Disney trips.

We were at Pop Century in April, during DD's birthday. We saw that they had small birthday cakes pre-made in the food court cooler section. I can't remember the exact price, but I was thinking about $12. They were fairly small and probably just about the right size for 4 people. We didn't get one because we were on the DDP and had dinner at the Crystal Palace that night and were too stuffed for extra birthday cake! But we did look at it and consider it. Might be just right for your party!
