special santa paper?

Santa uses special paper at our house. Then I wrap my DD presents from us in Disney princess paper and my DS has Toys Story paper from us.

Another special Santa paper. I buy the rolls from Current that are printed "From Santa".

Santa's wrapping paper has images of Santa on it! That's how you know it is from him. Any other wrapping paper is fair game for the rest of the gifts.

(Please keep in mind that I have only being doing this for 2 years- my DS is 15 months old, so this is his second Christmas- I reserve the right to give up in a couple of years if I want!)

lol! Yeah, that's what I said too! Mine are now 20 & 16.:rotfl:

Santa only brings one (or a set) of gifts to our kids. They are usually large (expensive) and unwrapped. This year Santa is giving our 8 year old a Kinnect and two kinnect games. He's giving our 17 year old a North Face jacket and a North Face day pack. Plus their stockings.

Yes Santa uses his own paper with his picture on it for the gifts he leaves in our house. I think he also plans on using separate gift tags this year too since my DD can now recognize her written name and will surely be the one to "find" her gifts under the tree ;)

At our house, older son's gifts are wrapped in red paper, the younger son's on green, and family gifts are in silver. No nametags -- each year Santa leaves a note reminding us about the colors.

I remember as a kid being really angry at my mother one Christmas, the one I figured out there was no Santa. I was probably in 1st grade and loved to show off my reading skills, so I got to read all of the gift-tags. I noticed that Santa's handwriting was exactly the same as my mother's -- and connected the dots and told my mother I knew she was Santa. It still ticks me off. I refuse to let my lack of attention to detail be what derails my kids' belief in Santa.

That said, it amazes me that kids don't compare notes, or if they do, they don't care. At some houses Santa wraps, at others he doesn't. Santa fills the stockings at some houses, while mom and dad do it at others. I wish there was a rulebook. :santa:
Us neighbors all swap tags and fill them out for each others children or I bring them to work and someone here does it

We are a separate Santa paper house - I replenish it as needed just make sure to never use it on other gifts and then I make sure and hide it from everyone including DH since he is a bit of a dork and one year wrapped one of my presents in the Santa paper. I caught it before the kids did, whew disaster averted!

Santa confers with parents
Santa knows that some kids truly need more than others
Santa knows that some parents can provide more for their own children and that leaves more resources for others.

"Santa" wraps all of the presents since all of the presents are from Santa. He likes to use atleast 3 different papers to make it look more festive under the tree. He doesn't use tags he just writes the name on the gift. Oddly enough his handwriting looks like mine. Either no one notices or is just too polite to say anything.

Growing up we always had to wake up our dad first so he could chase Santa or the Easter Bunny outta the house.

At my brother's house Santa leaves footprints around the living room to show he's been there (powder).

Does Santa wrap the gifts in different paper?
or does he use some of the same kind you do?

Santa doesnt wrap everything, but those things he does wrap are done with special Santa Claus paper. The paper is all different patternes and colors but all of them have pictures of Santa on them. I don't know where he finds all these pictures. :goodvibes

Santa uses 2 different types of paper here. Neither the same as the family paper. He had a bit of a problem this year thouGh. He had two bean baGs to wrap and ran out of paper. He had to Go to Kmart and buy some more but they had run out so he had to shop around in several different Kmarts to find more of the same. I think he must have found the very last roll in the state.

This is our first year wrapping gifts from Santa but we are using a specific paper and it has Santas on it. We plan on doing that every year, having a paper that is different from the rest, and probably one with a Santa print. :goodvibes

Santa always wraps with his own paper here at our house too. After Christmas, a girlfriend from work and I would trade leftover Santa paper to use for the next year. :thumbsup2:)

Santa uses his own special paper with his face on it :) He also has his "own tree" at our house- so Santa gifts go under our smaller family room tree (which is near the fireplace) and family gifts are under our formal livingroom tree.

We also wrap (er, I mean, Santa wraps) stocking stuffers in tissue paper..

Santa uses special paper at our house, too. We tried each person's gifts wrapped in a single separate paper but oldest dd didn't like that and commented that she wished Santa would use all different paper again. Great! This year, Santa has had three separate personalized sacks made for each of the girls. There gifts are in different paper, but they'll be in each individual sack.

This is getting harder and harder every year!!!

When I was growing up Santa always wrapped his gifts in special wrapping paper that had Santa on it! There were never any name tags, I always knew that if it was that paper it was for me and it was from Santa.

You also knew Santa presents because they showed up overnight. We always kept all the other gifts under the tree, and then suddenly a huge pile of Santa gifts would show up Christmas morning!! :goodvibes

Santa doesn't wrap here either. That's how you know what's from Santa & what's from everyone else.

Plus, its all I can do to wrap the regular gifts (I don't use gift bags with kids gifts unless I just have to). If I 'had' to wrap the Santa gifts too nothing else would get done.

Yes - and it has Santa "on" it.. Sometimes a big face, sometimes in an action scene, sometimes a very old-fashioned Santa..:santa:

Santa took his presents to my Aunt's house to wrap with special paper so I could believe for longer. My Aunt would then bring them with her to our house Christmas Eve and once I went to bed they would unload them from her trunk. I did question my mom once as to why her hand writing matched santa's and she told me that Santa had been running late and asked her to fill out the tags when he dropped off the presents.
