Special requests at BOG

Are you able to make special requests at BOG such as asking for no tomatoes or a different sauce on a sandwich?

When you preorder there are options to leave off items such as the sauce but I do not remember any options for substitutions-not sure if you order in the restaurant if it is any different as we always preorder.

You can absolutely say no tomatoes, my son got his sandwich with no sauce. Sorry, no personal experience with substituting something different.

My understanding (haven't been yet but have seen this subject come up) is that you can ask for certain items to be left off (so no tomatoes or sauce would be available), but substituting items such as sauces will not be an option. Ordering at the restaurant vs. preordering should make no difference; either way you input the selections yourself from what's available on computer/app/on-site kiosk. @TheRustyScupper frequently posts that BOG is Disney's test case for how people handle not being able to make any substitutions.

When we were there for lunch on July 9 the CM controlled the kiosk, it was not self order if you did not preorder.

Ok, thank you everyone! My daughter hates tomatoes, so I'm glad they'll leave them off. Maybe I can ask for the Dijon mayo on the side.

We asked for the Dijon mustard to be left off when we pre-ordered then asked for it on the side when we were served the meal. No problem.
