Special Request question??

I just recieved an email from a rental that I'm involed with. When I booked the stay for the family they made a couple of requests. All are noted on the confirmation like. Boardwalk view, non-smoking.....not the other request, which was for an upper floor. This isn't noted on the confirmation...is this because its a request and can't be guarenteed??

Correct. That type of request is never guaranteed.

They can only list two requests on a confirmation from what I have been told.

I didn't think boardwalk view was a request since your paying extra points for it ? ( compared to a standard view )

There are two types of preferred view.....garden/pool and Boardwalk. You have to request one or the other based on availabilty.

One of the OPs stated that they allow 2 request per confirmation. So this would be non-smoking and upper floor.....I should call since upper floor was not mentioned.

I have BWV boardwalk view reservations for June and October. Both show my non-smoking and top floor requests.

It seems like Boardwalk view is part of the reservation (due to paying higher points for it) while upper floor and non-smoking should be noted as your requests.

I feel sorta bad for member svs. and these ressies-I'm just as bad-with all these requests. We all want a specific room, view, floor, smoking,non smoking, handicapped non handicapped and check in at 7am!!!!
Wonder what we all would do if DVC or even WDW came out with a policy of, you get a room and check in when we have said-4pm!!!! I sure don't make all these reqeusts when I go to other resorts.

I sure could never work for Disney-they'd go outta business-I'd be telling everyone they're going to follow the rules. These are some special folks working there.

I have a VWL confirmation in hand that states:

Request non-smoking vacation home
Request vacation hom on top floor
Lakeview room

So apparently they can list three requests on the confirmation.
