Special request for room at WL

Still planning our first family trip to wdw. May 12th - 19th at the WL. I will be making room only reservations this week. At this time I will use our AAA discount on the Standard Room. $249 - 10% + taxes. (hoping for a code or ap discount later)

What special room request should I make. Location? Building? Floor? View?etc.

I believe the standard rooms are located over the front desk facing the parking lot and front entrance, and also in the North Wing over the smokehouse. I'd probably ask for a high floor, and also your smoking preference.
