Special rates/codes for the first week of September??

We're looking to stay at RPR September 5th, in the middle of our WDW trip. I'm afraid I created a monster two years ago in my DBF, who fell in love with the resort and FOTL access and refuses to US/IOA any other way now!
RPR is about $252 with tax for that night right now, and I'm just wondering if US ever releases specials/percentages off that might make that cheaper. Or if a third party website ever offers specials. I know that's a slow time, so I was hoping for a bit of a break in price. (But we'll book it anyway!) Any idea of where to look for a discounted rate?? TIA!!

if occupancy levels are down, it is quite possible for the rates to be lowered or codes to be released for the rate.


it probably is too soon to tell about the expected occupancy level is right now for your planned date.


if you book a room and a code comes out that lowers your rate, call to modify.

Remember that you can call for a AAA rate which is usually about 10%. Rates do often change, so you may get lucky.

If you book now, and the rate changes, you just call them and they will adjust your rate.

Sometimes third party places will have their own specials. You'll have to sign up with them for advance notice. When you book third party, you often can't cancel, so just make sure that is what you want. Also, third party bookings don't give you youfirst perks which include free internet and upgrades.
