My daughter and son in law are taking their two children to WDW for a 2 day trip. It will be the first trip for the kids ages 4 & 2. She is wanting to make it special for them. Can anyone suggest eating places that would make there trip special? We have not been since 2004 and things have changed.

Since they will only be there 2 days, I assume they would spend most time at MK. I guess "special" would be something like character dining. The only place I can think to eat is Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh characters. Or CRT in the castle, but it is currently closed for refurbishment. I'm not sure what your dates are, but if CRT is operating again, you could do the princess dining.

Tony's Restaurant right at the beginning of Main Street is great choice in MK too.

I think a character meal would be a great experience especially with kids that age.

Crystal Palace in the MK has Pooh and Friends and the food is good for a buffet:)

Hollywood and Vine at DHS has Disney Junior characters and that may be a good option as well.

because of their ages...I too agree...Crystal Palace ...they would do good having food ready as soon as you sit down and place your drink order...we love Crystal palace for adults as well as munchkins...hope they have a great time

I would agree with Hollywood and Vine! My then 3 year old nephew loved it last summer!
