That is one thing no one ever really knows with DVC. They put out their offers and then as it gets close to the time they will end, guides begin letting people know of the end. IIRC, it is usually only a few weeks from the time they say it will end until ending.

No. So far the only indication is that it is for a limited time. With that it could still be weeks, or it could just be days.

There are always deals...but clearly some are better than others. I'm sure owners who bought into Bay Lake Tower about 18 months ago for around $90 per point (today $117 per point) would attest to that.

Given that we're coming off a span of 6+ months where the incentives were rather vanilla, the current offer is pretty good for anyone sitting on the fence.

If you purchase RESALE now, the "incentives" run 10+% to more than 50%.

Before you take some "promotion" for a few dollars off $120-$130 per point, I'd sure look at the huge savings available on the resale market.

If you are already a member you may consider holding out till the next podcast. Should be sometime in March. The last one (nov) was about $108/pt for blt...but it was still $120/pt at that time.

There are no "free" points. The banking deadline is simply squashed based on UY in order to make people think they're getting something for nothing. You are then allowed to bank those points with all the normal exclusions and limitations afforded banked points. You bought those points. They are yours. TANSTAAFL.

Developer or "incentive" points are another matter. Got those on my initial purchase of Kidani a few years ago. Very limited in their use (where, when, etc.).
