We will be celebrating my son's bday on Easter at WDW. Do any of the restaurants do anything special for bdays? thank you!

It has been our experience that the character meals often put confetti on the table and give a birhtday card signed by the charcters that are there. Be sure to let them know when you check that you have a brithday in your group.

And you could pre-order a birthday cake. Look on CAKE THREAD for the info. The cakes can be quite pricey but are GORGEOUS. The cake decorators r true artists.

Most sit-downs also have small cakes there you can get. They will do cards with character signatures and some resturants will bring a cupcake or cookie. We were in Norway and the resturant there brought my daughter a cookie with happy birthday written in their language!! Check with the place you are eating ahead of time and they will tell you what is avaliable!! Have fun!!

I don't think I've ever been to a WDW table service that didn't so something special for kid's birthdays.

I celebrated my birthday for what felt like a week when I was there last. Because my birthday was on our reservation, I was honored even on days when it wasn't my birthday. Chef Mickey's gave me a cupcake, Akershus gave me a card signed by the princesses (which probably wouldn't appeal to your son) and a cupcake, Mama Melrose gave me a chef's hat decorated for my birthday and a card from the servers, Crystal Palace gave me a card signed by the characters and a cupcake, 'Ohana gave me a lei and sang to me, Columbia Harbor House and Cosmic Rays staff sang to me.... I don't remember what the other restaurants did off the top of my head, but it was a constant barrage of birthday. And I'm not a kid!

But I also have to say to your son - because my son is turning ten on Easter as well!
