We are taking a 8 year old with Autism. High Functioning, but can get overwhelmed. Thinking of renting this stroller from Kingdom Stroller rental, so he can get away from everything, if he needs to. Has anyone rented this? How easy is it to get up and down. Any other suggestions welcome.

I assume you are asking about the Liberty Push Chair? It has a max weight of 100 lbs, so your 8-yr-old should be comfortable. The reviews all show that it is an easy fold, however it may be rather bulky and heavy to carry on WDW buses when folded. When we were researching stroller options for DD a few years ago, we ended up purchasing a used Maclaren Major Elite stroller for about the cost of a weekly rental, but those can be hard to find as rentals.

Enjoy your vacation!

Even if they can't be tied down since their special need stroller they can be be brought through the back door then transfer to a seat and then folded. So you won't have to carry it on unless you don't want to use the back door with the ramp they have to be treat like wheelchairs just like wheelchairs you can use the ramp but don't have to be tied down. But you will have to fold it and keep it in front of you and don't ever let a driver tie down any special need stroller that dose not have transport tie down points it can bend the frame.

We will fold it for the bus. He walks just fine, but want to make sure he can go in it when he needs to get away from everything. Yes we are looking into the Liberty one.

I am sorry I didn't mean any disrespect I just meant it more for the bulk of the stroller because lanejudy mentioned it was heavy chair. Sorry again
