I don't know where to post this for sure - so if there is somewhere else let me know.

We ate at Ohana for breakfast the day we left on 10/7 and I wish there was some way to get in touch with the CM who was Mickey that day! All the characters were great and we had seen them all then my DD 7 got in trouble. She was being bratty and acting disrespectful and nasty. So my DH told her she was going to lose a privelege for her behavior and she lost it - started sobbing at the table. Mickey noticed and came over and motioned to her to hug him and she did while she sobbed. Mickey held her for what seemed like a long time and it was the sweetest thing I have ever seen - it made me cry! I would just love to thank that CM for going above and beyond and giving my DD some extra magic. Stitch also came over after she was calmed down but still sad and paid some extra attention to her. It was a GREAT experience and i will remember it forever. So if anyone knows that Mickey tell him/her THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

I hate to post this - (and thus making this place too popular!!)

but in our experience - Ohana has the best interaction - the characters seem to get more time to "play" Pluto rolling around on the ground, sitting on dh - grabbing something from the table and playing hide and seek with it -

I know it has the longest waits - but it is organized, once you are seated for breakfast - your section isnt rushed through by characters - and for us with an older dd - the characters still spend time with us! It makes for a very special memory!

I'm sure if you sent Disney an email with the exact date and time, they would be able to figure out who it was and forward the Thank You on.

We always have a great time at Ohuna. It's the only character breakfast that we have booked for every trip.

Contact Disney guest relations-give them the date and time-they should be able to pass your thank-you along.

Not much help but that is a sweet story. I had something similar happen. In Dec we went to see the Toy story characters at DHS and DD #1 was being a diva and didn't want to go in because she said they were stupid. I was having none of that and made her join the family which made her cry. She didn't cause a scene but she was definatly not happy. Woody saw her when it was her turn and was trying to tickle her and he hugged her and actually got her to laugh and enjoy her time with them. I made sure told the handler when we were leaving to say thank you and to tell whoever that Woody was the best. The CM totally went above and beyond what he needed to to make sure my DD had a smile on her fave while she was in the room with her. All my pics from the toy story characters on my photopass are my absolute favorite from that trip. WDW can be beyond magical!
