So, buy a 250.00 hard ticket and as a blue card member you can take advantage of this new perk. Interesting. Have they ever done anything similar to this in the past?

They limit it to member plus 3.... we're a family of 5... quite the perk...

Ok, registered. Definitely curious, and we're going to the party for the fireworks, parade, etc so this is exciting... and not an extra, extra charge for once.

LOVE IT. This is the kind of thing DVC should have been doing all along. A perk that costs them nothing (it actually encourages members to spend more on the hard ticket event) but that you can't buy.

This is clever Blue Card perks. More stuff like this could make the Blue Card actually useful. Overpriced "exclusive" cocktails at Geyser Points, silly pins, a photo op with a random character like Disney Visa used to offer, the kind of stuff that DVC could easily pull off if they cared.

Just like the dining discount. If you have multiple blue cards you should be able to just do it in 2 groups.

Anyone going Dec 19 and can add an extra onto their reservation for one of our party? Thought I’d give it a shot 🤷🏼‍♀️

I registered but is limited to 4 people total and will not let me enter a second reservation for my husband and our other guest. We are a total of 6 in our party.

Thanks for the link. Just got us registered for one of them. We are actually going to 2 of them but are only allowed to register for one.

Thanks so much for this! We'll be at the 12/07 party so just signed up.

Thanks so much for sharing!

This is a stupid question, but the event link just takes me to the main DVC page. I registered, but not sure where we even go to check in for this. Any more details on another page?

EDIT: Just saw East Garden. Going next Thursday, looking forward to it!

Update: they won’t budge on this. I emailed asking them if we could secure another slot for our family of 5 that had already purchased party tix & was told no. Why does DVC seem so intent on moving away from a family centred business model. I don’t get it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Same here- which night are your registered on? Would you consider following up on this thread with outcome w. consideration for 2 add'l members in party?

Family of 6. Even when I emailed and said it’s me husband and 4 kids- wouldn’t budge on 4.

Sorry kids- two of you have to stay behind.

🙄 what gives Disney
