Special Magic Bands

so we are planning a trip March 2017. I know they ship u out the freebie magic bands. I also have the shop Disney parks app, so now I am thinking that I might order some special magic bands for our trip and get them sent to us before we leave for the trip. If I do this is there a way to link them to MDE before we get to Disney or do I have to wait to link them when we check into our hotel?

You can link them, yourself.

There are unique numbers on each MB.
You can input a MB number to each guest your MDE account in the MB section.

The magic bands have an instruction sheet in them and the app tells you where to look for what
And as soon as they are linked there I'd number shows in the account

I got the Pirates one, and it is really neat (if you are looking for an idea). My wife also bought the purple (which I think now is a freebie) so the timing on that wasn't the best

Yeah I was looking at some of the magic bands and I see they have a 2016 magic band thats pink which is really cool so I am hoping they do another one like that for 2017, and my toddler would like the sorcerer mickey magic band and my older son LOVES the new disney show the lionguard and I think I saw a kion magic band from that show. My husband doesn't like spending anything extra so if I know him he would just go with the freebie bands, LOL

I have the Villain one and my son has the Castle one. Easy to link at home as PPs have said.

I only have the purple Haunted Mansion as a purchased band and they linked that when I bought it at the Emporium. But you can link it yourself using the numbers on the back of the band.

it comes with instructions on how to link it in mde. it's really easy.
