:lmao::rolleyes:Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone out there had any funny or special storiest they wanted to share.
My own story is this was a gift vacation from my husband to me on Mother's day week. He saved and scrimped for our family of four for 10 days. The first night at Epcot he actually had a waiter at Chef's De France place my gift of a Mother's day ring on my dessert plate. As the waiter placed my plate in front of me I gasp saying thank you and gave the waiter a friendly hug. Our waiter who was being funny and enjoying the surprise turned to my girls and said "if I get a hug for a dessert imagine what you'll get for the ring." Laughing he said " quick girls start picking your souvenir's. All in all we had a great time and there was a nice tip for a wonderful waiter.

Anyone out there have any type of story add.... I'd love to read any.princess:

When our oldest DD was about 4 1/2 she met Ariel for the first time and she told Ariel she knew her song and then Ariel let her sing "part of this world" to her. The CM was so patient, even though there was a long line waiting for their turn!:wizard:

:)Don't you just love when the CM's are extra nice for you. I'm glad your daughter had her special moment with ariel. Hope you all have many more memories like this.princess:

When we took the girls to WDW for the first time in '05, Becca wasn't really speaking yet except for occasional words (she has a severe language delay). She had a stuffed Pluto that she loved and when we got to the WL we went to the pin cart and there was a Pluto pin and she pointed to it and said "That my puppy" -- I started crying and dh bought her anything that had Pluto on it the remainder of the trip:)

Then, when we got home, she went back to school -- it was December and she had not spoken to her teacher yet. When she went in the teacher asked her how Disney was and Becca said "I meet Belle".

Since then we've said that Disney was like speech therapy for her and helped her to speak more, so it's a good thing we pulled her out of school to go:)

:cheer2:Yeah I'm glad ya'll had a great time, and that your daughter princess: was able to have the miracle of disney magic to help with her speech.

My sister and I went to Disney a few years ago and on the day we went to Epcot we had an accident. For some reason that I cannot think of, my sister wanted to sit on a bench under some trees. Trees full of birds. Since I have the bad luck in the family, I was the one who a bird decided to poop on - thankfully just on my shirt. My sister said that if it had been her we would have to go back for her to change. I just rinsed off in the bathroom and spent the rest of the day being laughed at by my lovely sister. :rolleyes:

Don't feel so bad the same happened to my younger daughter:laughing:. She just cleaned it off in the restroom and enjoyed the rest of the day. Love the memory you brought back. Thanksprincess:

I have told this before so I apologize if you have already read it.

Mine is a Dole Whip story. We do MK on extra magic hour days and by about midnight or so I am beat. I will tell my kids that they are welcome to go just as long as they want, they won't hurt my feelings at all, that I will just sit right here by the Castle and watch the lights change (wink, wink). As soon as they take of in the direction of Space Mountain, I take off running to get a Dole Whip and make my way back to the Castle to just sit! No one has figured it out yet!

That sounds sooo good. Maybe I'll try that next month when we go to disneyland. But I'm thinking a great big sundae or waffle cone. Thanks for the idea. :thumbsup2princess:

January 2008 we took my nieces, 5&7, and nephew 7, for their first trip to WDW. Here at DIS I learned about "tinkerbell gifts", so I stocked up on everything from $ store coloring books, to Disney PJs and Sweatshirts. I also had notes from Tink telling the to be good, sleep well, etc.

The first evening when we got back to the rooms Tink had left each child some PJs. My 7 year old niece started screaming, jumping up and down, and generally having a fit the whole time yelling "uncle rick....tickerbell is real tinker bell is real" :rotfl:

Just a few weeks ago the girls had a slumber party with some friends at my house and had their disney PJs. I heard my ND7 telling her friends that "tinkerbell is real" :thumbsup2

Isn't it great when the children can get so excited when they believe a character has given them something. I'm glad they still believe. Hey wait a minute so do I. :laughing: Thanks for the story.princess:
