Okay, it's my mom's birthday and I want to do something REALLY special. I'm pretty sure that I want to have a custom cake made but that's about it. I wanted to do something really unique. It's okay if it's a little pricey because it's just the two of us. I looked at the Grand 1 but that seemed like it was for larger parties or those that were romantically involved XD Plus she's not really a water person.

Does anyone have any ideas or really cool experiences that they could recommend?

Once on New Year's Day, DH and I got the table for two in the middle of the big window overlookig Fantasyland from Cinderella's Royal Table restaurant in the castle. We booked for the first lunch time slot of the day and arrived very early for the reservation - and then we asked and got lucky.

The back-stage tours are great, if she's curious to know more about the "magic".

For a treat for my Mum we bought her a day pass to the spa at the Grand Floridian.

This is the one we got althought there are other less expensive or more expensive. She said she had am amazing day. She met another woman there on her own and afterwards they wandered over the the Grand Floridian and had Tea!
