Special Events On Board (that isn't a wedding)?

So I am planning a surprise 70th birthday cruise for both of my parents next summer. I've already reached out to VIP people that we want to sail with us etc.

Has anyone ever had a party on board that wasn't a wedding? Has anyone ever hired a photographer (or brought one with them) for such an event?

This is kind of a "grab life by the horns" celebration. Both my parents survived the COVID pandemic (and are now vaccinated) so my sister and I want to do something big and memorable for their 70th birthdays...but Disney has been very vague on what they can do...

I'm not sure they do other special events other than weddings/honeymoons. I do know you have to have permission to bring a personal professional photographer to the parks at Disney, maybe also the ships.

I'd suggest you try calling 800) 951-3532 and see if they can answer your questions.

Not exactly the same thing but since my husband and I organized our own private vow renewal (just the two of us, on our verandah), I believe there are enough options on a Disney ship to create your own magical event.

Palo and Remy can both provide very special experiences... You can order cakes, flowers and gifts...

I could be wrong but I believe you can book a photographer? (To be determined).

You haven’t said which ships you’re sailing on, but both of the classic ships have a private dining room in Palo that might be nice for your party.

Assuming that everyone in the party is at least 18 years old, that's an option.
