I have friends who are planning to go to WDW in September or October. I told them that they should be fine as far as crowds are concerned if they go after Labor Day. That being said, I was wondering if there are any special events during Sept. and even the first of Oct. that would boost the crowds up. Thanks for the info. :flower: princess: :flower:

The first weekend of October will be the opening of the Food & Wine Fest at Epcot. That tends to bring in a lot of locals. But it's all relative, as that time of year is typically one of the lowest for crowds. We've even been over Labor Day weekend before and it really wasn't bad at ALL. I've seen it more crowded in late October than Labor Day.

One thing to be aware of is the lower crowds have a tradeoff - shorter park hours and the chance more attractions will be under refurb.
