Special Edition Pal Mickey

I plan on getting Pal Mickey on our next trip. I played the Pal Mickey game and got the coupon where I can get the specially-designed pin to go along with him. It states that this Special Edition Pal Mickey will share messages that are only available to game winners. Does anyone have this edition? What is different? I am wondering if it is worth it. He has to be picked up at DTD or the Magic Kingdom. I was just going to get him at the hotel.

You can play the pal mickey game on the Disney website. You get the coupon once you win the matching game. You can then take the coupon to Disney to get the "special pin".

I have the SE Pal Mickey and I really couldn't tell you as I don't have a non-special edition Pal Mickey to compare him too. He always had something to say though. ALWAYS--Buses "Gee Pal we're going to have great fun today." Starts the day and then it never shuts up.

nuzmom thanks for the link. I have an ap and could get a tshirt for pal mickey with that, but you can only do one promotion, are the mickeys with the pins actually programed differently? It says it has messages for game winners only. I thought it was the same doll, you just had to choose between the tshirt and the pin. Anyone know?

I saw the new Pal Mickey Advertised in The Laughing Place magazine

The special pin is a gold ear silhouette that attaches to Mickey's foot. It's advertised as a seperate purchase from the doll.

The new Mickeys also have changeable clothing-whereas the originals (I assume) could not be redressed.

I can check my magazine when I go home for lunch if you like----
