"Special" Disney Clothes???

I will be 5 months pregnant during our trip to WDW next month and can't find any Disney Maternity clothing/tops.

Does anyone have any suggestions of where to look?

I don't know your size but I was able to just buy some larger sized items- like tee shirts and they worked. Also you could make some- if you're not up for tie dying you could buy some iron on disney patches- onto a regular maternity tee.

There are a bunch of very talented designers on the DISBoutique thread. I'm using one of them now for my daughter's custom outfits. I can't sew beyond a button, LOL!

Kmart actually had a couple Mickey T-shirts in XXL sizes and I just bought those to wear for my trip when I was pregnant last year. Kmart tends to have a lot of Disney character shirts and sweatshirts - just look in the bigger sizes and you should find something.

Try a mens shirt in a smaller size. I also like the put a patch on a maternity shirt idea the pp suggested. Joanne's has several different character iron on patches that are inexpensive and easy to put on. Go to Target and get and inexpensive T and make your own .

You might want to try the maternity section of your local Walmart or Kmart since I've seen Disney maternity items there before.

The last time I was pregnant (almost 6 years ago) they had Disney maternity stuff at Sears. I remember buying a Pooh shirt there.

If you want to pm me I would be glad to make you something at cost. It would look more handmade than what you buy in the store though.

Paging HeatherSue ! She posted on the Disboutique thread about her shirt she wore when she was pregnant. She went to the designs board here and someone created a shirt design for her and then she copied it and affixed it with an iron on. I don't have the link right now, but it was so cute!
