Special Diets, Increased price?

I just got off the phone with Dining and forgot to ask if there will be an additional cost to my meals since I have several limits to my diet. I want to plan ahead since we will not have the DDP. Does anyone know? I am thinking maybe at the buffets there will be an additional charge since I will not be eating off the buffet. I hate to call again, but will unless someone knows the answer.

I have never heard of an additional cost b/c they had to make an adjustment to a meal.

They shouldn't charge you extra. My son is allergic to a bunch of ingredients and they make plates for him, but only charge us the kids meal price for it (even when the portions are HUGE and nothing like what's on the kids meal).

Thank you for the replies. I am glad to hear that there will not be an additional charge. Since we will be paying OOP I am trying to get a realistic food budget worked out.

Unless yor requirement is you need lobster added to every dish, They won't charge you.

There should not be an extra cost. My mother has several food allergies and whenever we go to Boma, the chef prepares dishes for her and brings them to our table - I've even had special vegetarian dishes prepared for me, even though there is plenty to choose from at the buffet. We have never been charged extra above the regular buffet pricing there or anywhere else (buffet or not).

At Crystal Palace, they didn't offer to prepare me anything beyond what was on the buffet (I ate a lot of salad that day LOL), so that wasn't an issue. At Boma, they did, but didn't charge me any more than the other members of the party. I hope it all works out well for you!
