Special Dietary Meals via Room Service?

I was told by Disney that you can order the special dietary meals(kosher, vegan, etc.) via room service. Has anyone had any experience with that? Is it a better quality meal when it is heated up by a chef for room service and table service, rather than an ordinary foodservice employee?

Any information would be helpful.

Vegan meals will not be heated up; they will be made fresh just like any other room service meal. Any special needs meal will be done this way with the possible exception of kosher. I really don't know how that one would be handled since I believe those have to be requested ahead of time because they're prepared in an outside kitchen. Our room service meals that have prepared for food allergies have been absolutely wonderful and very fresh!

The only meals I've had anywhere at WDW done by an ordinary foodservice employee has been CS. IMO room service meals are the same at TS meals.
