Special Diet Requests

So this is my first time with special dietary requests. I have ordered Kosher meat. For ppl who have done this before is ur meal more or less ready in the expected time frame or did u have to wait a while for it ? Because if waiting more than usual is the expected thing then this might mean trouble for a few of my FP+ windows etc.

As a group with food allergies we always allow extra time as it must be prepared in a separate area by a special allergy chef. If you call WDW they should be better able to answer your questions. HTH

I have had to make special food requests before and mine came out with everyone else's at my table and just as warm and delicious!

I've called in the past to ask about kosher meals and the people I spoke to, even the dining experts, didn't really have any useful information for me.
When you say 'kosher meat' you mean literally just the meat is kosher? In other words you would be eating the same food as everyone else but with kosher meat?
If that's the case then I guess it would be enough to order it ahead of time for each restaurant you're planning on visiting. But if you need completely kosher meals (sealed, stamped etc.), that's a different story.
There is one QS place that serves kosher meals on demand at each park so even if you don't make reservations, you can still find kosher food
