Hi,
my friend and I are planning our trip for next month and want to make reservations for Cathay Circle. We're in the UK so will be using email to make our reservations.
We're also both vegetarian and as there are no veggie options on the CC menu we want to let the restaurant know our requirements beforehand. Should I just mention this in my email asking for reservations or is there another place I need to speak to about it?
We also wanted to get the WOC reservations with our meal, should we mention that in the email to?
And finally we were going to do this on a weekday (probably wednesday) the hours for our trip aren't out yet but it seems like WOC is on once a night on weekdays in october, does this mean we can go for either lunch or dinner to CC? I'm slightly confused as I've read that lunch will be fore the first showing of WOC and dinner for the second.
Thanks in advance :)

there are some options you may be able to have as vegetarian. we were there and it was fairly limited but wise to email or notify before hand through your reservation. You do not need to reserve the WOC in advance unless it is a holiday. we walked in, had a seat within 5 min. and had WOC fp dining option with our meal. :3dglasses

What I have been told, and what I'm hoping will work for the reservations I've also made for next month, is that if you let them know in advance that you're vegetarian (or have some specific food allergy), the chef is happy to modify an existing menu option to make it vegetarian, or make you something off-menu. I've read reviews from a couple of people who asked the chef directly why there weren't vegetarian options on the menu, and were told that the chef preferred to make something special based on what was fresh at the time. Perhaps take that with a grain of salt, but it is the Disney way to be accommodating where possible.

I mentioned it when I made my reservation, too, but it has been suggested that when our trip comes closer, I should call Disney Dining at (714)781-3463 and make sure they know. It couldn't hurt! I've heard rumors, even, that the chef will sometimes call people back to discuss possible dishes.

Great to know, thank you!

Thank you, I'll let them know with my reservation then. Callings a bit difficult because of the time difference but I'm sure things will be fine :)

The more information you can give Disney restaurants, the better they can accomodate you. Let the Dine Line know so that they can note your needs on your reservation. Let the host/hostess know when you check in so they can remind your server. Let your server know (although he/she probably will know already -- ours did). And, if necessary, ask to speak with someone in the kitchen to see what they can make for you. Disney is great about working with dietary needs!

When we ate at CCT I did not tell them I wanted WoC FP as I wasn't sure we were actually going to do WoC that night. We decided when we walked in and were seated. :) It wasn't an issue to get the FPs at all.

As for your dietary restrictions, I would absolutely let them know when you send the email, they will note it on your reservations.

Great to know, thank you! We'll just tell everyone who might be able to help us :)

Cool, though I guess we might as well tell them we want to do WOC on our reservations too. Can't DO ANY HARM :) Thanks!
