I saw somewhere that Disney World has a special anniversary version of the Cinderella (I think) costume to purchase. I thought it would be a great surprise for DD since we will be going to MNSSHP in October. Does anyone have a picture to share about the dress and accessories? Any idea on the price? Also, do they have other Princess costumes not available at Disney store? Thanks

It looked to me like a copy of the dress she wears in "Cinderellabration"(white satin; kind of like a wedding dress) and it was about $90. I'm not sure about the accessories. DD wanted the dress so badly, but I didn't want to spend that much. Fortunately, she was happy with Ariel's wedding dress at about 1/2 the price! They have pretty much the same character costumes at WDW as they do at the Disney Store, but the WDW ones are much nicer. I think they are better made and more realistic looking (they look more like dresses, rather than costumes). We bought the original Cinderella dress for DD two years ago, and it had the same pattern on the bodice and sleeves that the real Cinderella had on her dress, which she thought was really neat. They run about $45 to $60, and have lots of accessories to go with.

ETA: If you go to http://www.laughingplacestore.com/Category.asp?RC=330&P=1 you can see pictures of some of the costumes and accessories. The new Cinderella dress isn't there, but several of the others are. Also, disregard the prices. They are marked up on that site since it is a shopping service and they charge a shopping fee. I looked up the receipt for DD's Ariel dress, and we only paid $60 at WDW, and on this site it's $92. But, it will help you get an idea of what they have and what everything looks like.

How much more are the costumes on laughingplace.com than in the parks? All the princess dresses they have are $101. Shoes are $33. Thanks!

The dress is $95. I think the silver shoes that match the dress are $36.

OMG those prices are high! I just checked and the dresses they're showing are the ones that sell for 63.90 after tax in the parks. The Accessory Set they have for 44.25 is 24.00 plus tax in the parks. (I'm looking at my receipts from January, Tinkerbells Treasures, right now.)

I don't see the shoes we bought, ours are Sleeping Beauty pink and covered in sequins. We paid 28.00 plus tax in the parks.
