Good Morning, Everyone.

I had made 105 fe gifts. Started another 20 last night, but if that's not enough, that's all there is. There aren't enough hours in the day! We're trying to wrap up our kitchen renovation (doing the work ourselves), finish several dozen scrapbook pages for the 'Give Kids the World' project, and a family member in the nursing home to run for.

I see where we currently have 113 on the FE list. When will the cut off date be as I need to be finalizing my gifts but I want to make sure that I have enough. Any ideas??? Thanks. Almost there!!!

I have set a date of Aug 21 cut off for the FE list, that way it gives us plenty of time to finish up and mail packages if need be. Peter will contine to add names to the master list up to Aug 27, as for lanyards I'm not sure what date Ken as set up.

I just finished going through the list. I have a total of 112 I had a duplicate posting in the GTY. sorry for the confusion

8/21, as mentioned below, I have blank badges that names can be written on with sharpie.

Virginia's list still is in the getting it together stages, look for many updates and corrections later this week when she has time to get it all together.

As stated it is still a Work in progress..
as you can imagine with many cabins being assigned this week!

Oh, a little Mouse told me that documents are being Prepared for mailing!


Also the cut off date for getting on the Roster and FE list will be AUGUST 21, 2008..
We need to pack and ready ourselves for a departure for FLA,
This is basically a week before we leave... and 11 days before the Cruise..

There are a few extra lanyards, for the late Person, who may find this thread, after the CO date..
(Name badges are printed - just will have to write in Dis name and first name, with sharpie..)

Virginia and I, are working out how to inform others that may want to find late comers, for FE Gift delivery.

Please look at the Roster, As Virginia / ulittletinker is taking info from the roster - compiling from there...
I do go a little GOOFY sometimes and or mis understand post and or PM's.
please make sure the info I have is correct! Yes we share info...in case you r wondering..

Happy Monday morning to all!!! My daugher and I along with her Girl Scout troup went to the Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, Va. over the weekend... It was a blast... The kids had a ball... I think most of the adults had more fun than the kids.... Now back to reality... We have to get busy on our FE... I am trying to pay my daughter to help... She has helped me out some... I am trying to get them fished soon... I will be shipping them to my aunts house who will be going on the cruise, she lives in Florida... Have a great day!!!

KONK KOOLERS WITH NO RUM???? Hey we were on that cruise too!! Small World! I think it's different... Merrick will be with you... but would you let him go alone with your Mom?? I will have to remember to get a picture of him having fun though, just to rub it in... And I will need a baby fix... I'm gonna miss my little man!!! I see...I speed read thru these posts sometimes to keep up! I missed that DD wouldn't be coming.) My initial reaction would be, nope! But, knowing how fun DCL is, I would possibly reconsider if there was no way I could swing going too. Tough call

Let me tell you, Konk Koolers NEED rum! I only had one....it was not good. I stuck with the kids smoothies the rest of the trip. Then I wouldn't keep thinking I was missing something!

Gotta get clothes ironed, get ready for work and take little man to daycare. Ahhhh, I hate Mondays.

Hey Bob! I can't see your picture here at work. IF it's the cute black and white teapot with Mickey on it... YES!!! If it's not... I'll have to wait until I get home tomight to take a peek!

I'm up to 200 FE gifts, with another 75-100 to go! Gotta get busy! I have ideas about how to get them ready to distribute, but haven't settled in on them yet. last time I had each room separately with the number in each bag, but with room changes at the last minute... it was hard. So... this time, I may just package individually. We'll see!

Hi, everyone -- I leave for California this Saturday, and will probably just print the roster off at that point . . . we will be in CA for a week, then on the 15 night repo, and then on this one! I have 250 FE gifts, so should be fine with at least 2 per FE . . .

If I don't post much this week due to last minute packing craziness, I will just say "See you in September" now!

Great morning here in the heartland. Nice a cool....for now.
Hope the weekend is going well.







Ah Lanyards, they can be a double-edged sword.
(I appologize to those that have heard this one)

On the first cruise with a lot of these folks we had the lanyards.
Second night out, Lee and I had ours on going to dinner.
As we were getting on the elevator a woman looked at us, put her nose in the air and quite snootily said, "Oh, you are one of those lanyard people" and never said another word.
I had not even done anything remotely offensive.
But after the big sleep over, the jammie breakfast, the great chair robbery, ect. I began to understand what kind of group I was associated with.

But I always wear mine with pride.
It will be a good time.

Well, it is time for a Belle walk and then a soak before the heat rolls in.

I would really love to hear the stories (or read as it were) of the jammie breakfast and the great chair robbery. They sound interesting and it might be good to know what kind of group i've gotten us mixed up with.

Oh and we have 22 days and a wake-up until we leave for our Disney Vacation. I don't know if i mentioned this but this is the first vacation we've been on since I was home on leave from Afghanistan in 2004, so its been a long time coming. I am so incredibly excited.

I am glad I am not the only one feeling a need to wrap up their FE gifts. I also need to reclaim my kitchen table , however, it's not because we sit and eat there a lot, but we need a place for the stack of mail to pile up.

The names on the FE list are all those Diser’s that has requested to participate. Our count thus far is 112 cabins. I have updated and removed the names "These Diser may be on the cruise" so there’s no confusion. Peter will still have there names on the master list. If you don’t see your name on the FE list and would like to join in the fun ,there is still plenty of time,just PM me. Deadline Aug 21

Hey there! I don't know anyone either b/c this is our first cruise, but have a feeling we are going to get to know each other. I remember when looking at the FE list, there was a group all around us and I remembered your screen name! We are in cabin 6520 in between you and your friends. We have an 8 yr old and a 3 yr old and see you guys have lotsa kids in your cabins... so lotsa fun in the area. Looking forward to seeing you on the ship!

Oh boy maybe I should apologize now! Just kidding! Four of the kids in our group are teenagers!!! 16,16,13,13! The younger three are 10, 5 and 5, girls. This is the first Disney cruise for all of us also! Looking forward to meeting you!

If you are worried about feeling left out, I sure wouldn't worry. We have never met anyone that will be on this cruise. It will be fun putting faces with screen names, as I am sure that I have a lot of preconceived notions as to what some folks look like, and I am sure my ideas are nothing like what the real person looks like.

It will probably be interesting to see how few people on the ship are not wearing lanyards from our group. Do you think folks will be wearing them most of the time?

Nope not worried, looking forward to figuring out just who everyone is! You are right it will be fun to put a face to the screen name! This seems like a fun group! I have so much to do though! Starting to get that slightly panicked feeling!
