I think I have found a fun group.

Yes, it was a good time.
If not for Cabo, we would not have made some really good friends.

This is a fun group.
Some of these folks we've know online since 2004.
Actually met Lynn and Scott that summer.
But the Panama cruise in '05 was the one where we met everyone else.
Been great.

Just got back from Bethan's birthday party. We held it in the Subway that recently opened here. The past few years we had 40-50 children but this year we were restriced by Subway to Bethan plus 12 friends.

I have to be fair, Subway were brilliant. We didn't have to worry about a thing so I'm all for doing the same next year.

Bethan is still merrily unpacking her presents and cards. She loves Dr Who so she's had quite a few things related to Dr Who.

I used to really enjoy The Prisoner, actually have all the series on VHS, should transfer to DVD.

The Prisoner was filmed in Wales !!!!!

And, so is Dr Who!! Dr Who is brilliant - it's due to start the fourth of the new series in five weeks time. The Christmas Day Special is the Christmas highlight now - it's watched by millions.

Dr Who is "different" to me. Maybe the new ones will be better(for me).

Now, the Prisoner I liked. Shows my taste eh?
Always like Patrick McGoohan.
Thought it was cool that he allowed for a parody of himself on the Simpsons.

However, he will always be Dr Syn to me. (disney reference)
That is one that needs to be released on dvd.

Also liked "Secret Agent". John Drake.

I really enjoyed "The Avengers" with Patrick Macnee.
But it was Diana Rigg as Mrs. Peel that filled my adolescent heart with......joy.

Bob is right....the PC Cruise in '05 was life changing for me. I met people who I know will be in my life for a very long time and if not for that cruise, my life would not be as rich as it it.

Winter is no where near gone here.....Winter Storm Warning for freezing rain tonight....more snow is expected on Tuesday and on Friday just in time for our March Break (aka Spring Break) is another storm - it is expected to bring anywhere from 30 - 40 cm (11.8 - 15.7 in - if I did my math right) I have some co-workers who are re-considering their departure day because of the potential storm coming in.

Leslie...I might be taking you up on your cruise room offer!!!!!!

Bob I figured you for a Prisoner kinda fan, Met a Brit fellow in a que at The Land , whomhad on a T-Shirt , that said "Be seeing You", he was kinda surprised I got the reference.

Taxes are done and so am I LOL!!!! Hurt just a little, and then some.

Thank you so much for posting about Mom on the boards. She always wanted to post, but was a bit overwhelmed with learning how She would be honored to be mentioned on her precious Disboards!

This was a tremendous shock to us - Mom was so full of life and love! She loved being a cast member and was looking so forward to this cruise - and celebrating her 65th birthday with you all! I spoke with her the day before she died to let her know that I was not going to be able to go on the cruise with her because my fiance and I had decided to get married in October! She was so very excited about that and I have the comfort of knowing that she died a very happy woman!

Thanks again Tracy - and have a toast to Mom on the cruise - you know she'll be there with you all!

Well yesterday it was 67 and sunny, just a little wind. Last night the wind picked up to 57MPH and now it is overcast snowing and wind averaging 25.

Well, it was in the upper sixties today. Sunny. Great day.
Shorts for the first time this year.

Thanks Florida for the wonderful strawberries I bought today. Yum.

Good Morning All!

Bob, We will take your warm weather

It was a wonderful afternoon yesterday, spending time with my Bridesmaid friend. We laughed about how we've changed over the years, and talked as though we never skipped a beat. It was too funny when both of us would have trouble remembering something at the same time Thank heaven for the gift of laughter!

Taxes are done for another year! We pre-paid too much, so it came back to u$.

But, our little GEJO PT Cruiser did not start this morning... let's forget the fact we just had her in the shop last month for $$$$. So our refund will come in handy.

Like I said earlier, thank heaven for the gift of laughter!
