WHERE I CAN SHIP BOXES TO:
UPDATE 03/19/2008

We are allowed one box shipped per stateroom only.

2)It must be the size of a records box and weigh no more then about 20-25 pounds he said.

3)No alcohol in boxes.

4)No food or drinks. This may cause the dogs to hit on your box and that would be a bad thing.

5)Label the box with your sailing vessel, sailing date, stateroom or ressie number and GTY status if you are unassigned still.

6) Make a packing list and put it in a sealed envelope and tape this to the box. Your list may or may not be read but it must have one. Write packing slip on the outside of the envelope.

7) If your box is hit on by the dog or choosen for addition screening they will open the list and the box and look through it. They will close it back and provided nothing bad is in it then it will be in your room as usual later after boarding.

These boxes will be coming on the ship with the crew mail amOng other things so they may be in the staterooms later then they were before as they are low priority in the scheme of things for Disney.

ADDRESS TO SHIP TO:
I.D.S.
9001 MARLIN STREET
CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA 32920

Thanks, Peter. I had looked to see what new info I could find on the boards and the DIS DCL FAQ still had the older info. Thanks for posting. I am now switching my two flat rate postage boxes into one big ole box. Oh, well.

Well, everyone beware on the ship...Merrick is now walking! It ain't pretty, and I doubt it will be any prettier on a moving ship, but it is so funny to watch him try to master it! Too funny:rotfl:

There are also some people on this cruise that are funny to watch later in the evening.

Alex, Carolynn, Lynn and I also might be funny to watch walk after the DL 1/2, stove up from our over night plane ride. :lmao: :lmao:

I understand I should have my docs possibly on Monday, too bad I don't have them to pour over this weekend, but at least I know they are on their way. Hope everyone has a really good weekend..........

I've seen quite a lot of posts about Cruise docs - we had ours here in the UK around two weeks ago - what's going on?? :confused3

I just love the countdown... where do you get those adorable number graphics??? I would love to print them out individually as flash cards for MD!
]

I have gathered the graphics from all over the internet--I can't point to anyone specific spot. A lot of them are available over on the DISigns Board. Some of the numbers were made by someone else and I put them together and added the shadows, etc., and some of them I created myself. I am learning Photoshop Elements, and the more material I have to work with, the more creative I can try and be, which is not easy for me.

I am glad you are enjoying the countdown. I am having a lot of fun doing it and have even had a request or two for specific characters. I need to come up with some really good ones for our last week.

You will very soon learn that you might wish you had pushed him back down as soon as he started walking. :rotfl: Your life will only get busier and busier now and the novelty of this new found ability will very quickly wear off. :rotfl2: Seriously, though, enjoy this new milestone.

Right there with ya, rwethereyet!

David, if you booked thru a travelagent, the cruise docs go to them first and then the agent sends them to you. Not sure if Disney sends them out in batches too.

With all the JB, GSF and CBS talk it got me wondering...Are there any Hasher's in this group?

Sadly I can't drink beer, so no fizzy drinks work fine, i.e. wine, bourbon, etc etc etc.

For others, basically Hashers are drinkers with a running problem :lmao: :lmao:

Then there are the Disney Deads, Disney Running.com folks and the WISH folks.

In addition to Peter's emendation, I'd suggest the following layout for the information on the front of the box. We put this information on a large label and place it in the lower left-hand corner of the box.

STATEROOM NO. xxxx (GTY, if you don't have an assigned cabin yet)
PASSENGER NAME: (lead name on reservation)
VESSEL: Disney Wonder or Magic
DATE OF SAIL: (embarkation date)

This is in addition to the packing slip listing the contents of the box. We have also included the list of contents on this label rather than creating a separate document and placing it in an envelope. Either way, it's a rather generic list: 2 pirate costumes, 3 novels - that sort of thing.

IDS is not a Disney company and handles deliveries to several cruise lines. We suggest including the lead passenger's name in case the upgrade fairy strikes; let's make it as simple as possible for our parcel to find us.

We used to include BOX 1 of 1, 2, 3 etc but the limit of one box per stateroom makes that unnecessary! Be sure to mail them so that they arrive a couple of days before you embark (but not too far in advance).
