Check out gotapex.com. changes every day and has pretty good links to deals for all kinds of stuff even laptops. I just build out a Dell mini for a friend. Size of a hard cover book 2lbs, very thin perfect for web, email. Has ports on the side for all types of cards from most cameras. Than you add a mini usb exteral (costco) and your good to go.. Even has a web camera built in.

We just got word our refinance went through... closing in a week! We are VERY HAPPY!

Dad came home today! It was an overwhelming feeling to see him work his way to the porch and through the front door. How wonderful it felt to have the first phase over. Now it's on to using those new knees!

The thread for that cruise is a bit slow. Not used to that. That's o.k.
I need to be a good roll model on that one.

Will start the taxes sometime today. Sigh. I also have started on a new project that I will work in between everything else. BUT, it is time to head outside.

Good Evening All. Was a wonderful day here. Wasn't real warm, but the sun made it really nice for mid-February.

Elaine, sorry. I thought you were going on a short cruise. My mistake.

I had heard the rumor last year that there was going to be another POC movie.
Did I miss the official announcement? I saw this logo on a Disney site....

I guess there is a Wonder cruise to celebrate it. March 8.
Hopefully they will sell stuff for it on the Magic also.

Was talking with a co-worker friday about our upcoming cruise and he pointed to the "beach picture" and asked if those folks were going.
I told him "Sadly no. We will miss them."
That got me thinking, I believe the last four cruises we have had Lynn and Scott with us. Maybe some others too.

Bob really appreciated all your birthday wishes.

The weekend at the Breakers was great. Beautiful place. They treated him like royalty at Cafe Boulud (fantastic meal). (In Brazilian Court hotel) L'Escalier right there at the Breakers was pretty good the next night...but didn't come close to Cafe Boulud. Bob even got to have the nice Circle Brunch before we left the Breakers Sunday afternoon.

Thanks to all for the encouragement! Dad is glad to be home safe and sound! Now, we've got to keep him motivated!

No mini pc yet but now that Dad is home and just doen the lane, I'm hoping for some time to pursue the search. Joe is afraid the screen will be too small and wants me to look for something bigger... but I want the portability. Soooo the hunt is on.

Yes Bob... floating on Castaway Cay was just the PERFECT DAY!!! Complete with a Mickey cloud in the sky! Thanks for the news on a NEW POC movie. Maybe we should plan a group cruise when the new movie premieres!!!

Georgie - the laptops are bigger than the mini's, and can do more, and are still very portable. We traveled with laptops for a long time before Scott got the mini Asus.

Looks like we will be getting rain or snow here today, but it is not really cold, high in the 40's, but it will be windy!

We are counting the hours 'til Florida!

In 24 hours we'll be taking off from Philadelphia airport! My sister is coming up to keep an eye on M+D.

We're off now to hang a new shower head and hand held attachment at the folks. We're hoping this will be a quick task!
