We're so bummed right now...

We just cancelled our WDW trip. We were supposed to leave tomorrow, but we felt there was just too much to do to get ready for Christmas. How we wanted to see the new lights on the Castle, as well as our dear Florida neighbors...

Sorry to hear that Georgie. Maybe things will change.
I would love to see the lights too.

Bob we have actually seen the commercial for Sonic with the Mac & Cheese snacks and I think they look "interesting".....we might actually have to check them out for real in 3 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bob...you ahve lots of time to shop...just stop in Bob Evans & Cracker Barrel and pick up some gift cards!!!!!!!

Georgie, sorry you had to cancel your trip, we know how much you were looking forward to it. We are signed up for the WDW half marathon in Jan, the Minnie in May, and the DL half marathon on Labor Day weekend. The DL one will be a quick trip, we will have to fly out that night to catch our cruise that leaves the next day!

Scott got his marathon packet yesterday also, I got mine last week. We will be at WDW from Jan 5th to the 13th. Hope to see some of you there.

Is anyone planning on going to the Atlantis while in Nassau. I am asking because I booked a CS room-but we have 5 in the family, they only allow for 4. I thought if anyone else is planning on doing that if we get together and book a few rooms. So if another group has more than 4, we can "share" a room on paper in order to get to use the amaenities. By the same token, if someon has less than 4. people w/more can help pay part of the room costs.
Just and idea-any thohgt.

I have been seeing the Atlantis on Regis and Kelly-so it got me thinking and planning-soemething us Disers seem to always do!

We were hoping that DCL would have some sort of excursion there.
(we know that DCL likes to lurk on the DIS)

Have been there before. Neat place. Would love to see the "water park".

Funny you should mention Sonic......

We will be getting a Sonic here sometime in the spring. They just broke ground.

Our only experience with Sonic was a few years ago.......right before we met Scott and Lynn for the first time.

We had this version of Mac and Cheese about a year ago...

(the mac & cheese is the ball shaped things...they were deep fried)

Need to ask a cruise question. When I booked this cruise I was assigned a cabin. Now I am reading it is a noisy cabin. Is there anything (besides wearing earplugs ) that I can do to ask for a different cabin (cat 10, deck 2)

Unfortunately, all of the cabins left are in guarantee status so you won't get a new assignment now.
