Made reservations in August for the 5 nighter. Never cruised before. Got cabin 7614 with second dinner seating, its me Danny(42) and my wife Renee(46) through mouse ears travel. Also, got 4 days after the cruise at Pop century resort to be at the pin convention at Epcot. Have been pin collecting the last couple of years. I have many questions that I will post over the coming days and weeks since I seen a lot of frequent cruisers. I work at a local hospital as a CT tech and my wife works at a local bank. We hope it will be a good experiance. I wanted to do a small cruise before I did a 7 days or more since in 2009 will be or 20 anniversary and would like to make it maybe before cruise ends next year. Thanks so far and will keep in touch with you all.

I was very nice to Sharon! We had a nice meet on the Boardwalk. It was so nice to sit down after getting rained on twice at Epcot and walking around the world twice in this heat!!

Hi, We're back. In fact we've been back for over a week. We had a fabulous time. Even rode Expedition Everest 8 times on our last day! We were the first ones on that morning and left for Magic Express at 1:00. Not bad for being at AK for only 5 hours and that even included squeezing in breakfast at Donald's Breakfastsauras.

Tracy, it was so good to meet you and Bill. I had a great time talking with both of you. It was a great start to our vacation.

Hi Elaine & Margaret. Glad you had a safe trip home. It was so much fun getting a chance to meet you both. After meeting you & "Mom" and Tracy & Bill, I'm really looking forward to our cruise together next year and meeting everyone else.

Georgie, I wish you could have been at WDW while I was there so I could have met you too. It is so good to hear that your mom came through the surgery well and is doing good.

Bob & Lee, even though I don't know you yet I feel I do a little. Congratulations on your recent Wedding. The pictures I've seen are beautiful.

Scott - I think I read that you had a birthday - Soooo Also on our recent trip I got confirmation that you are not a teen (like I originally thought), but sometimes you do act like it. Next July our family is going to Yellowstone so if you and your DW are around maybe we could stop by on our way back to Colorado for a few minutes?

I wanted to check on Tink33. I know you're in San Diego and hope you're doing okay. I've been watching the news extensively and know that over 500,000 have been evacuated from their homes and they've closed part of I-5 near Camp Pendleton. My mom lives in SD too. She's okay so far. My brother who lives there and works for a school district is off because they've closed all schools this week so I know he's taking good care of Mom.

My DH is on a flight right now to LA for a business trip. The devastation is not as bad there but I will worry a little till he gets back to Colorado.

Prayers going out to all of you in Southern California

Hi All!
I was looking at a few podcasts w/ my daughter the other day. We were interested in the things for kids. When she was much younger-maybe 3 or 4 we were on a DC Wonder cruise and I could not get her out of the kids club. Las ttime I could not get her to stya for very long- I attribut e this to her being more aware of kids and friends. She said "I didn't know anyone", so long story short, I thought it would be good for her to know that there will be others her age that she coul look forward to meeting.
Are there any kids going on this cruise? My children are :
DS Liam 12 will be 13,
DS TJ 11 will be 12
DD Mairead 9 will be 10.

I was just signing on after seeing the news here about the devastation of the fires and I had no idea that San Diego was involved. I too am concerned for Lesley (Tink33) and her family as well as Ken & Shari (kpros/spros) who live in Ventura California (not sure if they are affected by the fires or not).....If anyone knows anything...please post.....so I can stop worrying about my Disney family.
