Just popping in to say hi to all the new DD cruisers joining us!
I've just been busy, and tired, started a running program and signing up for the Disney Minnie 5k in May!!

Georgie, glad to hear that about your mom, that must be a huge relief.

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to pop in and say hello:wave2: It seems like it has been forever since I have had time to pop in over here. Hopefully soon I will be able to post more over here and get to know some of you all. Have a great night.

YES! Georgie that is fantastic! What a relief! I lost my Mom 2 years ago to cancer. I am so glad you got good news!!:dance3:

Well kids it has been windy here , Lynn recorded a gust of 60.4 MPH this afternoon.

I was going to get out of work early today but that did not happen. 54 hours in 4 days, I need a vacation, but have to take office cell and be ready for all or two.

We leave Cheyenne tomorrow morn for Denver and then to MCO early Sat morn. YEAH!!!!!!

I want to get in a five mile run tomorrow morn before I get boarding passes on line.

Will hit the Denver Zoo and who knows what else.

Time for last minute packing….

Will have my wireless card to keep in touch, KEWL!!!!!

Welcome Aboard to one and all.......incase I forgot... life is going pretty darn quick right now.

Evening/Morning Folks...
I am unable to sleep. :surfweb:

Georgie, glad to hear that the pathology was benign and that she is feeling better! You had also asked me what a travel bug was and I was waiting to see if Scott might bail me out and answer. ;) A travel bug is an item that you can find inside a geo cache, that is supposed to be moved from one geo cache site to another. These items are trackable via websites like geocaching.com People who find these items will often write or post information about where they found the bug and where they are taking it. It is like a virtual travel blog for this item. If anyone else would like to give more information about this topic, please feel free!

Welcome to all the new people!

Welcome to all the new people!

I forgot, sorry, you did a great job describing. we are bringing two to WDW area from Wyoming. You forgot to tell me how your day of geocaching went. yeah that's it, that is why I forgot LOL;) ;) :)

Hi Everyone!

The weekend is approaching! YIPPEE!!!:cool1:

Scott + Lynn, safe travels! :thumbsup2

Celeste thanks for the info on geo catche. Sounds interesting. Gosh, there's so much information in the big world out there. Where does one start? So much to learn and so little time... one second at a time! :goodvibes

With the path report behind us, it's back into the normal routine :laundy: but, believe it or not... that's a welcomed relief!

Hey... what's this I hear about a DVC in HAWAII????? I know I'm probably behind in the times. I heard about DL, but not Hawaii. Maybe the cruise ships will go there when they're completed.

Hello to my Fellow Cruisers,

Sorry for not posting more often -- more of a lurker than submitting posts. :surfweb: Can't believe we are under 11 months to the most relaxing, fun-filled Disney cruise yet. I will be leaving in 3 weeks for a business trip to Atlantis so I will get to check out the Bahamas ahead of time. I say business trip but the owner of my company is taking the managers for a team building exercise (ie drinks around the pool, golf & gambling). Free Trip, Free Trip:banana:

For my fellow DVC members, last weekend I took my daughters to Chicago for a long weekend (we are from Cincinnati) and we stopped at the Woodfield Mall to tour the new Animal Kingdom studio and one-bedroom suites at Doorway to Dreams. They were beautiful of course and the one bedroom accomadates 5 people and will have a 2nd bathroom. We been thinking of adding on points leaning for the Boardwalk but when they are finished building they are promising 80% of the rooms to be savannah view so my girls have changed their mind. Some good incentives going on as well. We are booked at Old Key West in June.

I promise to participate more and wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.

John

and then from the rumor mill on the Passporter
We enjoy looking for the trends behind Disney's press releases, and it doesn't take a psychic to see a particularly interesting trend. Just how much of a coincidence is it that within a few months Disney announces new cruise ships and new resort developments in the Pacific region? Everyone who follows the Disney Cruise Line expects that, after its new ships enter service in 2011 and 2012, one ship (whether one of the two new ships, or the existing Magic or Wonder) will be permanently assigned to Los Angeles. Naturally, the nearby presence of Disneyland Resort supports the cruise line's classic Land/Sea vacation packages. Now, with the addition of Hawaii to the Disney vacation portfolio (in time for the first new ship's arrival), Hawaiian Land/Sea vacations are also in the cards (seven-night one-way cruises plus two-three days in either Honolulu or Disneyland), and even Land/Sea/Land vacations that would include stays at Disneyland and in Hawaii. (While we expect that most West Coast itineraries will visit Mexico, special seasonal itineraries to Hawaii and/or Alaska are certainly in the cards.)

Everyone have a great weekend.

P.S., Will post the wedding pictures soon. Waiting for some to be e-mailed to me.
Football time now. Go Boilers!

Yeah!! Badgers kicked butt!!

We are dog sitting this weekend. Buddy is not happy that Deb left, but he is doing much better than when mom would leave him.

We too are going (28 yr old single mom and 11 year old son). We are planning on doing Atlantis shore excursion.

This is my 1st cruise and Sept 1st is my 29th b-day!

You haven't posted enough times. I think you need at least 5 posts, but it could be ten. Go ahead, post a few times to get your count up ;)

Booked Cat 11 Guaranteed but no room assignment.

Switched to 2nd dining since we want a long day at Atlantis and we figure we can snack onboard before dinner.

I am glad to see there are other kids my son's age (11 at cruise time) onboard.
