Special 5 night Bahamas 9/1/08 Are you going?

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you! Thank you for your offers of prayers, pixie dust and support. Thank you for your virtual greetings, mail greetings and in person visits. Thank you for your phone calls to let me know you care. And thank you for your condolences by discussion forum, email, phone or by mail. It has meant so much to me!

You can never have too many friends and I have been blessed with so many of you!

Today my mom would have been 66 years old. Today also would have marked 45 years that she and my dad were married. They are together today. My mom was an amazing woman. I always knew it, but what really meant so much to me was when her friends would tell me how proud she was of me and my sister and when she would say great things about us to Debbie and I. I would simply reply back "How do you think we got this way?".

Tonight we are getting together with family (some of whom I am planning to surprise at Christmas with a trip on this cruise) to celebrate. Mom would have wanted it this way. I hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend!!

Hey there...we have a bit to go..we aren't until the 9th.

Wanted to pop in and let everyone know we leave for WDW and the 9/8 cruise at 7 AM in the morning. That means I'm getting up at 3 AM to get ready and get to the airport for the flight.

Hopefully when I return I will have more time to spend with you all on this thread. The current plan is to book my sisters (2 of them) and their children DD9, DD9, & DD15 on this cruise while we are on board. I will be sure to post if that is what occurs. See everyone soon, Lois

Up good and early did a one mile speed training and then a 5K at a 11 min pace. I am ready bring it on …. Then walked a couple of miles with Lynn.

Tracy, I'm not so sure about that. Allen is a very quiet and conservative sort of guy. Besides he said he wasn't planning of bringing any "Jammies" on our cruise so maybe he was picturing his arrival in the dining room as I was telling him about the Jammie Breakfast.

LOL, I wish WDW was listening. DL has been ahead of them for years in the dress code department at their nice restaurants. Free internet is popping up all over at the nicer resorts we stay in outside WDW...WDW better get listening..lol.

Well, one year from today. It seems far, but before you know it we'll be there. I had a friend do a 4-nighter in June. I asked him to buy me 2 scrapbook packs. So, today I gave my friend Renee, who will be joining us, a 365 present. I gave her the scrapbook pack along with some other scrapbook stuff for our cruise. I see this thread and read all that everyone has to say and I'm so excited to meet everyone and experience this. I can't wait to see my daughter's face. My parents are excited too. We are counting the days. Have a nice Labor Day weekend everyone.

Kids It is Africa Hot here at DL, spent ost of yesterday with Kay, Susie, and Linda’s Crew . We were really surprised that the crowds seemed less than we expected. Maybe the heat has kept folks away.

We had dinere with Kelly, Ann, Karen etc….It is great to see past cruisers.

I really liked the fireworks here at DL.

We are hoping that the mornings stay cool.

Today will be a rest day.

Wish i had signed up for the 5k the course looks really kewl. it is all in the park.

Well , we just got back from the Med Repo and since we are on the PC repo we thought it would be great to do the 5 day giving us 20 days on the Magic , I hope you people dont mind Ole Captain Jack and his crew joining your sailing .....

It will be Myself , My Sweet Melissa and our DS 6 Destin

We will be at WDW from Oct. 13th to Oct. 20th - staying at the Boardwalk.
We plan on going to the Food and Wine Festival - Rob and Amber will also be going with us. We were all on the 11 night Southern Cruise last Sept. with many of you and had a great time. We will also be on the 5 night double dip cruise next September. Have a good week everyone - Belated Happy Birthday Tracy.

Will just miss ya at WDW this year we arrive on 10/20.

Pretty darn excited this morning, so here I am waiting for the coffee shop to open.

It has benn fantastic to see one and all again, making plans for future trips, enjoying DL etc etc etc…..

All the DVC people have no Idea about the CA DVC property. Seems they have briefed the bell hops and security folks about it LOL…..Looks like we will be getting more points in about a year or so.

I wish the race would start sooner as it will be rather warm, incentive to finish early.

Well best of luck to fellow racers, coffee shop is opening.
