Special 5 night Bahamas 9/1/08 Are you going?

We are booked for this cruise too. After Peter pointed out the cruise to us, we had to go, the Magic has only done a 5 day cruise once before- the maiden voyage. But it did not have a double dip of Castaway. Alex and Carolyn

That's interesting, I didn't realize this would be only the 2nd 5 night that the Magic has done. I was hoping we'd be able to find out what will be removed from the cruise compared to the 7 night (shows, menus, etc).

Well, it's not Deb's agency, it's the agency that she uses and the agency that is a sponsor on her website. (It also happens to be an agency I'm very familiar with ) But my point was, I think the cruise may be even more popular now that she's promoting it.

I'm going to have to look into this Black Pearl thing at CC - I'm still very excited over that. It's about the only consolation that our cruise is so far away - at least there's time for the Black Pearl to get there!

I am so impressed with all of the "first" cruises that you've been on! You're the King and Queen of specialty cruises. So any guesses what types of dinner rotations or show they might have on a 5 nighter?

What's "bad" is that I booked this cruise before I was told that this was "Deb & Steve's Group Cruise." I hope I don't have to *work* while I'm on the cruise!

I know what you mean about tone. That is the worst part about the computer things are taken wrong often. Im sure you will squeeze in some fun, and hey you can write it off on your taxes.

Dody and I cruised together on the Dec. double dip. I am definitely a cruise novice and hope to perfect my skills on this cruise

It will be DH, DS 7, DD 7 and me. There is some possibility that MIL may join us but she is 85 and I don't want to book it for her this far out.

Maybe they will just copy the 7 day DD schedule - whatever they did on the 2 CC days and one of the port days and one of the sea days. Since there will be no 5 day cruises prior to this - I'm not sure how we will ever find out.

I am interested in advice on Nassau excursions. I guess I should check my Passprter. We didn't get much warm, sunny weather in December so I will be looking forward to that change. I hope.

I plan on getting my monies worth this time - last time I only went twice. Now I have my priorities straight. Wasn't that excited by the food - would rather drink tea in the rainforest.

this will be fun. We had a pretty large group on the December cruise - you always found someone on the ship that was a DIS geek.
