Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes, I had a great day. Scott did tell me about them as they came in (I usually do not get a chance to read the boards over the weekends).

We did not get much snow with the big storm of the weekend, just a little frozen rain on Sat. morning. Today it is warm but very windy, wind gusts up to 70 mph are forecast. I do not think I will get my long walk in today, will try to get out for a short one before it gets really windy!

Solar Snowmen were seen eating 4 cheese Mac + Cheese by day and Glowing by night while watching The Nightmare Before Christmas! They were hoping to wash the Mac + Cheese down with some great Hi Tech Fancy Made Margaritas, but their owner's still dreaming of his ideal Christmas present!

Hi everyone! I have had this cruise booked for a while but wasn't sure until a few days ago that we could do it because although I thought that the girls' school schedules would allow a late return I wasn't sure . . . at any rate, I will be on the 15 night PC eastbound cruise with a few others on this thread (I just saw a post from Paula!) and then will stay on for two more stops at CC and one at Nassau . . . should be heaven.

It will be me and my three daughters, who will be 16, 13, and 11 by the time of this cruise. I will certainly join in on fish extenders and other festivities, although I don't know how much I will post on this thread -- the repo one is rather high maintenance, to say the least!

At any rate, I'm thrilled to finally be able to say that we will be a part of this wonderful and very special cruise . . .

Yep, same here Georgie.
My mom loved christmas time. Seemed like she baked for the whole month of december. Shopped for all of the relatives. Kinda inherited that spirit from her.
Plenty of time Georgie....20 days to go.

I had it booked for a while but was trying not to get my hopes up that we could go . . . usually the girls would be back in school the Wednesday after labor day but I had hopes that school would start back later -- and it was confirmed the other day. So now I can relax and know that we can do them both!
