.... I know this isn't something I should waste my energy on, but HONESTLY!! :crazy2:

The guy in the cube next to me is such a NERD!! He's a salesman, and is on the phone all of the time............ talking. Here are some of the things / terms he uses that make me roll my eyes:

The time is ALWAYS such and such Central Daylight Savings Time or such and such Central Standard Time (depending on the time of year, of course). Just say 3:00 Central for Pete's sake!!

When he gives people our website, he says: "It's world wide web dot........" Oh for the LOVE OF MIKE!!!

He sends and receives "facsimiles".

This morning he wanted me to email him something, so he came and asked me for a "soft copy" of the report. HUH???

It rains pitch forks.....

And his "favorite" restaurant is Pablo Don's (that would be Don Pablo's, Mister connoisseur)

I'm sure there is more that I will think of later, but these are the most recent.

Does anyone else sit by someone so out-of-touch with modern conversation? I'd love to have an additional laugh. ::yes:: :p

If he really bothers you that much "try" to have your office moved. Otherwise your tension is going to continue to build to the point where you could go postal. (LMAO) I feel for you.

Actually, I'll tell you one of my daughter's peeves. She is 15 years old. Her science teacher drove her crazy.

Teacher was talking about the Nobel Peace Prize in Science......and my daughter said "The Nobel Peace Prize only deals with peace. You can win a Nobel Prize in some scientific field, but it's not called a peace prize." Teacher argued that they are all called Nobel peace prizes!

Thanks Rippington'sFan.... as tempting as that sounds, I just don't know how else I'll get my daily eye exercises.

:p :p :p :p :p

My dh has always called Tastykake "Krimpet" cupcakes "Krimpkets." Drives...me...nuts...:headache:

That is too funny. I used to work with a very old-fashioned woman who would ask me "Do I have too much rouge on?" Do they even call it ROUGE anymore?
