for folks taking their own non-descript strollers or renting stollers in the parks, do you have a strategy for being able to tell which one is yours fairly easily?

I remember leaving Fantasmic during our last trip and trying to find our stroller in a sea of hundreds - and in the dark at that!

Are there any tips out there to make a stroller easily identifiable?

Thanks!

When you rent a stroller they put a BIG tag with your last name written on it hanging in a plastic bag on the back of the stroller. This worked fine for us, but we have an unusual last name. Other folks use other things to mark theirs. We loved renting strollers when we needed them, but now we happily no longer need them. HTH!

I had a very common looking blue umbrella stroller for our granddaughter's first visit. I went to The Dollar Store and did what another poster suggested. I got a very cheap bandanna and tied it around a handle. I got the strangest one they had and it worked. If you are bringing your from home, you can also make up a sign before hand and put it on the back. I did that when my husband was temporarily in a wheelchair. We got so many comments on it.

For Fantasmic or any time we have to park our stroller in the dark, we found that hooking a glow bracelet on the stroller handles allow us to easily spot our stroller!

It was an accident the first time, but we're glad we discovered this little trick. We always get tons of glow bracelets/necklaces from Dollar Tree for our trips.

buy one of the silly balloons from the balloon people as you walk in on main street. Tie it to the handle of you stroller, then when you come out - even if your stroller has been moved by the very speedy CM's you will be able to find yours! Plus you get a souvenir!

Anyway that is what we do!

The Dis Neon Green, I got some of the ribbon and tied it on our stroller and a Mickey Head with our name on it. I scanned it into the computer and made it larger, then took sticky clear paper and covered it and placed on the stroller.

From the back it was easy...looked for our name (we wrote it really big on the paper)...from the front...we just looked for our black collapsible cooler...or the stream of water coming from it because it leaked out the bottem somehow...

certainly - ours is the dirty one!!!

we take a cheapo umbrella type stroller. has a sun top on it and a basket on the bottom. I have seen at least 5 like it at every park we have ever taken it to. (it is the target standard) we can pick ours out of a crowd though because it is just a mess.

we have all dripped food on the sun shade at least once - stains. DD has wiped her hands after eating cheese doodles on the fabric on the sides - stains. She had spilled more than one drink in that thing - stains.

NO, i am not a pig and i don't let my baby wallow in filth, i have spot cleaned it several times and event unsuccessfully tried to disassemble it and wash it. It is certainly used and we can pick it out of a crowd of others with the same design in a blink.

we take it just for this purpose. no one would ever want to seal it, they would go for the brand new looking ones. if it ever does come up missing, get damaged while flying or just get so over the top dirty - we will have no regrets about pitching it and getting a new one for 20 or 30 bucks at Target or WalMart. we certainly got our money's worth out of this one.
