Speaking of reading, anyone buy/read Clinton's memoirs yet?

Not me.

I've read all I care to about his exploits while in the White House.

I am certainly not going to spend money on it, as a matter of fact, they would have to pay me money to read it. Lots of money.

Not interested in the topic or putting any money in his pocket. Same with Michael Moore and his "movie"

Suuuurrrrrrreeee, right after I see Farheinheit 9/11. :rolleyes: In otherwords, not a snowball's chance in hell! :p

I will be reading it. Or at least starting it ( one of the perks of being over 50 is having learned there is no sin in not finishing a book ) People are going to be talking about it, and if I want to be able to join in, I figure I better read the thing.

I will be reading it also, so that I will be able to discuss it with other people. I know that a lot of people won't buy it or read it, but will have plenty to say about it. Unless I read it with my own eyes, I won't believe what the media says about it either.

ITA ::yes::

With reviews like these
The New York Times' Michiko Kakutani, in a front-page review Sunday, panned Clinton's 957-page book as "sloppy, self-indulgent and often eye-crossingly dull." Newsweek called it "hardly an edge-of-your-seat experience."
I think I'll take a pass.

On the other hand, if it proves to be an effective cure for insomnia, the $22 price tag might not look so bad after all. :smooth:

Yes, I plan to read it.

As for the NY Times, they "trash" everything. I'm a subscriber (and have been for over 15 years.) I take everything they say with a very large grain of salt....

If you watched his interview on 60 minutes with Dan Rather and if you watch Oprah today, I figure I won't have to read it. Dan quoted all the "juicy" stuff and asked him about it, so that's that. :rolleyes:

I will be buying it. Rather my Republican, couldn't stand Clinton then, can't stand him now, parents are buying it for me. Thanks to the Barnes and Noble gift certificate they got me for my birthday.

Can't wait till the 5th when I can get it signed by the man himself at the Constitution Center.

A valuable lesson to all those parents out there, myself included. Rebelling against parents never gets old. Even at 33.
