Speaking of kids.. How old where you when you had your first??

Just had my first (a girl) on March 1st of this year. I was 40 and DH had just turned 41. We've actually been married for 13 years but when we finally decided to start a family, it took a lot longer than we anticipated.

I got married at 30.
Had DS at 32 , DD at 34

Got married at 23, DH was 27.
Had our son when I was 25 (dh was 28) and our daughter when I was 27 (dh was 30). That was perfect for us.

We had our first 3 (triplets) I was 28 DH was 30 (we got married at 19/21). Our next ONE I was 40 (last year) DH 42.
I stayed home mainly because it would have been to expensive for us to hire a Nanny. We struggled financially, but honestly neither of us have any regrets. Actually, I was just going back full time when the "magical" package was announced to us. (she is our 20th anniv. gift from a disney trip). Again No regrets.

Got married at 23 (way too young), had my twins at 26/dh27, getting divorced at 31 and still holding out hope to have another in the future. If I can be so lucky the second time around....

I was 21 with daughter and 23 with son. Husband a year older then I.

When I was in 7th grade one of my friends was preganat with her first at the age of 13

I married at 26 & dearly wanted children as soon as possilbe.....money was not important to us......having a family & providing those children with lots of love & a happy home meant far more to me than a job.

Anyway, as it turned out I was unable to conceive.......we tried & tried all to no avail........even tried IVF as a last resort, it too failed.....so we thought we were destined not to have children.

Then I decided to give IVF one more go & this would definatley be the last resort as IVF does not come cheap.

Two months before I was due to go in for my second shot at IVF I conceived naturally......immediately handed in my notice at work & set about making a home for a baby to live in.

This was 3 years after we were married & I gave birth to a healthy happy baby boy 9 months later. Then when he was just 5 months old........amazingly I conceived again (naturally) & had another boy 9 months later......and they are 13 months & 3 weeks apart.

I was 23, DH 22 (unplanned, we had only been married for 3 months). I was 26 with #2, and 33 with #3 & #4 twins.
