Has anyone here ever been invited or attended an inaugural ball? I take it that if you donate money to the winning side you can improve your chances but can even the smallest donation get an invite?

I'm niot sure, but I think that for some of balls you can buy a ticket. . although you may have to be connected to even get a chance at that.


Since I make no secret of my contempt for Bush and the Kerry people booted me off their website I'm not going to be holding my breath waiting for any invites no matter who wins, ,

My sister in law use to be invited every year to the Dem inaugrals. She campaigned very heavily for them and was friends of the Gore family.
