Now that WDW has caught on to the fact that Goofy line-dancing was not the best idea they've ever had, what's going to be done with the space?

I was really, really disappointed when they stopped the Diamond Lil's shows. And my kids were MAD. The first time we took them to WDW, I took the baby to the Hall of Pres while Dad took them to DL's. When I met them there after, they were all "Mommy, you missed it, the lady sat on Daddy's knee!" They enjoyed the magician that was part of the show too - in fact, they insisted we sit through the next show as well. They could have sat there all darn day!

It was an "attraction" that was just a nice treat, a good counter-balance to the hustle and bustle of the rest of the park. I wish they'd bring it back.

I miss Diamond Lil as well. Mind you, I prefer the old show, with the can-can dancers, singing "bellyup, bellyup to the bar boys." I miss the meals we had there as well. It was nice to be able to enjoy a sandwich, chili or root beer float while we watched the show. The food was not great, but it conserved time. We ate while we were entertained. I can't say I was a fan of Marshall Daniel, but he was definetely better than Goofy. I love line dancing, but I did not care for the unorganized way Goofy did it. Bring back the tables, chairs, and can-can dancers.

The Can-Can dancers at Diamond Lil's are one of my few memories from my first trip in 1973. I agree - bring 'em back.
