My 12 year old decided to stay at school late and practice with the Pee-Wee football team, hes in 7th grade, these are the 5th and 6th graders.

Anyway........that was at 3:30 and now there is no answer on his cell phone.

So I'm thinking okay he called his dad to get him, so I'm calling DH and NO ANSWER on the CELL PHONE!

I love cell phones, I love being in constant contact with them if I need them but it doesn't do any good if they have their phones TURNED OFF!!!!!! I know DS has his on silent because he carries it to school every day and DH probably left his in his work truck but I need to know what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are SUPPOSED to be at another school for a away football game in an hour and I don't know where either of them ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drives me nuts when DH does the same thing. Another favorite trick of his, is to leave it in the car. Of course, I am calling him and going into major panic mode because he isn't answering his phone.

LOL! Dont you just love that?
It seems on the same day DH's cell phone is left home, his email goes down, his pager service is on the fritz and hes not at his desk to answer his phone. With all the technology today it amazes me sometimes its so hard to get in touch with him. :teeth:

Good luck finding them!:D

CamColt-have you thought about sticking one of those pet chips in him? ;)

I always leave mine at home on the counter that way no one gets ahold of me. Cell phones used to be great now I am sick of the damn things I have been carrying one since I was 18 and started driving my mother had one put in my car back when they were the only ones you could get. She always wanted me to be able to get ahold of someone if I needed to.

I know what you mean. I just got a call from DS in California asking me why DD is not answering her cell phone. She is at a football game and usually gives it to her boyfriend to hold. As I was talking to him DD called him. She must have noticed the missed call. When she first got her phone she never answered it. She is getting better at it now. It is frustrating though.

I am the Queen of the Forgotten Cell Phone. I am constantly being scolded by both my DD and my DH for leaving my cell phone at home. "What's the use of having a cell phone if you don't bring it with you?" - I hear those words at least once a day.;)

DD is pretty famous for shutting her's off too. She always blames it on something, but most of the time I think she's just trying to avoid Mom.
