Has anyone been to the spas at WDW? I am thinking of booking a massage. I know there is one at GF, SS and the Swan/Dolphin. There is also one at Gaylord Palm's which is suppose to be nice. Any opinions on which is better?

Thank you

I've been to Mandara at the Dolphin and Senses at GF - both for a massage and a pedicure - and I preferred Senses. Mandara was really empty and under construction when I went (it was almost two years ago, so probably not a concern now). The services were fine. At Mandara, I changed for the massage in the massage room, and then kept my belongings with me to the pedicure area. I'm not sure if they have lounges now that the construction is complete. GF provided a robe and sandals, as well as lockers in the lounge for personal items. The lounge was really nice - there was fruit-infused water and snacks (fruit, pretzels, and M&Ms), curtains that you could pull to separate yourself from the person in the neighboring lounge chair (or leave open if you want to chat), magazines to read, and nice music playing. The bathroom also included more toiletries - I don't recall any in the bathroom at Mandara (again, that could be different now). Senses also offers a 15% discount for AP holders and DVC, but Mandara only offers a DVC discount (which varies from 10-20% depending on the day of the week). One thing I did like about Mandara was that I was able to take my DD to Camp Dolphin while I was at the spa, and because of what we spent at Mandara we actually were comped the two hours at Camp Dolphin. When I went to Senses, I took DD along but would probably have arranged for her to go to Lilo's at the Poly if I hadn't planned to take her with me.

If you really want to go all out, the Four Seasons on property has a fantastic spa. It's not very far from any WDW resort, particularly the the MK resorts.

I'm still paying off whatever treatment my wife got there.... :lmao:

But in all seriousness, she said it was probably the best spa she's ever been to.

Have been for massages at the Senses at GF as well as the one at BC. The one at GF definitely seemed more luxurious but the massages at both were both great. If atmosphere is most important then choose GF but if the massage itself is what you are most looking forward to then you can't go wrong with either of these.

I have been to Senses at SSR and teh GRand. I liked both, but given a choice I would choose the Grand. It was lovely.

Thank you for all the replies. Gf sounds like it is nice. My daughter and I were at the Atlantis in Reno (room rate was $35 a night - killer price) and went to their spa. Now we are spoiled - 4 or 5 different lounging rooms, nice pool, different infused waters in each section, snacks, great shower amenities, etc.

:rotfl:I have been to the Four Seasons spa near us - yep  . Looks great but I stopped before I looked at the prices. I will definately look at this one also.

My mom is a huge fan of the Mandara at the Dolphin. Funny she wasn't crazy about the one at GF so I guess it is up to the individual person.

The Mandara spa was in Groupon for Orlando and I bought an 80 minute massage for just over $100. Called there 3 times before I finally got a human on the phone to book appt. The pictures look great and I am looking forward to our May trip.
