OK so just where did the sparrow come from? I just saw a post talking about codes. I just assumed it was for sale before I started playing:confused3 Please someone enlighten me

birdmom, it is an extremely rare prize from the website that Disney set up to promote Pirates 2 (Dead Man's Chest).

If you go to disneypirates.com, and enter the site, there is a game to play.

If you successfully complete the game, it gives you a VMK code for a prize. The prizes include a chest, or organ, or a few other furniture items. The most rare is a code for the Jack Sparrow Costume. I have heard that it is 1:5000 chance of getting the Sparrow.

I have played it dozens upon dozens of time myself, with no Sparrow luck.

Hope that helps.

It does thank you I now have a new past time:lmao:

I have been playing daily for 3 months and still no sparrow, much luck to you, if nothing else you will end up with a giant skeleton monkey army like myself.:rotfl:

the thing that sucks (pardon my language) about sparrow is that vmk players were hoping that it would come out for sale, and the word spread out vmk would, but vmk workers get payed for every person who clicks on the 'pirates game' and they get $2.00 or something

WHAT!?!?

where did you get that information?

Does anyone have a link to the game? I found the web site but can't get on the game.

thanks guys I am now the proud owner of 5 pet skelton monkeys:lmao:

I got mine around the 5th day the game was available. I think it took me about 1,800 codes if memory serves. And that messed up my neck for quite awhile. Best of luck to you! :wizard: I still play on occasion trying to get another one to gift or trade cheaply to a friend, but I haven't entered the codes in awhile; too busy playing fireworks to buy holiday things. :rotfl: I save the codes I do win in a text file and then enter them in a sitting or two, also because when I run that game and VMK at the same time my computer goes bonkers.

You have got to be kidding me.

can You get sparrow from Disneyland or u can only trade for it???

You don't get it from Disneyland. You get it from playing an online game. :)

You can trade for it. But, most people are asking for a lot of very rare items for it.

Make a note: Only the costume can be traded. None of the other items can be traded (not that anyone really wants them after they have a few thousand of their own).

I have entered at least 3000 - 3500 codes and have yet to get the costume. :(

I entered my last 50 or so codes I had saved and sadly no sparrow was in the codes lol

... I have heard that it is 1:5000 chance of getting the Sparrow...

Just to clarify this -

1 in 5000 codes is for the Sparrow Costume (according to some info we all found out long ago, don't know if it is 100% fact).

This does NOT mean that if you enter 5000 codes you will get Sparrow. You could capture 4,999 codes and a "lucky click" comes along (as I like to nickname players with incredible good fortune) - captures 1 code and - BAM - it happens to be the 5,000 code.

So - although 1 in 5000 codes wins, you could enter 10,000 codes and not win, or enter 2 codes and win both times.

Or - just decide it's not worth all that clicking and code entering and admire Sparrow from afar. :rotfl:

Good luck in your pursuit....

How do we dump all this stuff, do you guys just keep it all in a room? Can you sell it for nothing just to get it out of your inventory? Also do you think or has VMK ever made something like this tradeable later like after the game is long gone?

I have kept about 10 organs since I really do not like these but never know when I need one. I keep quite a few monkeys since they are quite useful for decorating. the posters I wallpapered a store room with. The rest of these I sell and i think you get 5 or 10 credits. Dead Men's Chests I keep every single one. These are quite useful in building and alot cheaper than buying crates (the chest is 2 crates wide and about 1 1/2 tall) Sparrow I only got by an extremely lucky trade when I all but gave up. :)

You get 5 credits only for each item sold from this. :) But, after you enter a lot of codes, 5 credits can add up. I think I've earned about 15,000 credits from selling this stuff. :)

so no one thinks it will ever become trad able?

I have probably 10 rooms filled with Pirates stuff, mostly Skull Rock rooms. Before they stopped letting us trade it all, I had to have given at least 200 items away (including plenty of skeleton monkeys... as Idol_Fan can attest to-- I hate those things! :lmao: ). I've sold a few items here and there when I just needed a handful of credits to buy something and didn't have time for another mini-game, but otherwise I kept it all after it became non-tradeable. Maybe I'll make a really massive, confusing maze out of it someday. ;)
