Spam via PM's?

Anyone else had pm's that are from someone who has no posts that include links to other sites?? I had a strange pm including a link telling me to visit that site.

Rather than immediately deleting it, from the message read window click the <FORWARD> button in the lower right corner. Have the recipient be "The DIS Moderator Team" and add any comments you need to it; that would be the same as hitting the <Report Post> icon on a regular post.

Could they have posted enough to get to 10 posts and send PM's and then have those posts deleted?

Actually you can report them directly. There is the red triangle with the ! in the upper right hand corner right above the PM when you are reading it. Use that to report it please. We can't take care of it if we don't know about it.

Are you getting Private Messages or Visitor Messages? I think you may talking about the Visitor Messages. You can actually delete those yourself. You can also report the spam ones by clicking on the word Report. Report them so we can take care of the spammer then go ahead and delete them.
