Spain is closed again...

Hi. I booked the EBTA in 2020, no go... 2021, no go.... and now I am seeing that the third time around may be doomed as well. If I can't go on the EBTA in 2022...what about the b2b that is also booked? I know that everyone is on pins and needles but really...where else, and to whom can I release my frustrations? Has anyone even gotten that far in thought??

EBTA2022 is in May right? I think it’s premature to start panicking about that one. As we have seen, a lot can happen between now and then (granted, both good and bad).

We’re booked on a Northern European in August 2022, rebooked from this year, we were supposed to sail in a week in fact. I’m not making firm plans or anything yet but I’m not worrying about it yet

It’s tough. We are booked for a 9 night SC next summer. It’s the 4th attempt since 2020. We are also hoping to go to Japan next summer. Our last attempt was thwarted by the tsunami and Fukushima nuclear reactor problems. Just stay flexible and try to be positive. Lots of things could happen.

Right there with you in the worry department. This is supposed to be the make up from Hawaii and EBTA that were canceled. Time will tell but I'm not in a rush to book airfare home yet.

Ohhh..forget the air home! I'm too concerned about the cruise going, the rest will need to await. Let's just all remain calm...ha-ha-ha. (I try to tell myself that every single day.) I guess we are all in the same boat...well you know what I mean.

We are right there with you. We are also booked on the 2022 EBTA as well as an NCL cruise that leaves from Barcelona right after it. The only thing I've done to plan for that trip is use our Marriott points to book a hotel in Miami and Barcelona. I'm not about to book airfare until it's pretty clear we are actually going to be able to go. Normally by now I'd have air booked and be well on my way to at least researching tours onshore if not booking guides, but for now everything's kind of on hold.

There's still a lot of time and things can change dramatically for better or worse. There really isn't anything we can do about it, so I'm just kind of ignoring that trip for now and focussing on a couple (non cruise) we have later this year.

Alright, 4 attempts, you've got me beat! crossing my fingers for everyone!!

We had a European river cruise booked for March 2020, moved to April 2021, now scheduled for April 2022. As well as a group RV trip to the Canadian maritimes, originally scheduled for June 2020, moved to June 2021, now June 2022.

I keep getting "book now" offers from both those companies, as well as from multiple cruise lines (including DCL). I'm not paying for any more trips with anyone, until the two trips that are totally paid for are completed.

I'll be doing what you are...closing my ears, eyes and placing it aside. It is just hard to not book our flights, look into excursions, and just get into the wave of excitement of going to Italy and beyond... Have a wonderful time on your trips this year! I keep saying it will all be okay before next year.
