Hey guys!

My Spanish teacher recently informed us of a chance to go to Spain next summer. It would be the end of May through the beginning of June. I have told my parents about it and they are considering it. Here is the thing though: it is $4000 and because it is not a school supported event, there are no "fundraising" opportunities.

I would LOVE to do this. The only problem is the $4000. I'm just wondering what you guys would do to raise the money since there is no school fundraising. Any ideas on ways to come up with it would be fantastic!

(oh and I'll just say right now that it would be extremely difficult for me to get a job, so that's not the best suggestion)

You could get together with some of the people that will be going and plan a car wash or something like that. Idk but the trip sounds really cool!

if u no any local bands that u know of u could get a couple of them to perform in a benefit concert and u could charge $10 a person. I think it would be a hit!!!! or u could just have a huge party after a football game at ur school and everyone could bring the same amount. Thats wat would do.!!

You could have a bake sale? Or maybe a car boot sale? Just anything where you can sell anything I guess.

What about a sponsored silence, sponsored run or something similar?

Uhm... Save every bit of money you get for your birthday, christmas, etc. That's something simple.

Do you know what you'd be doing in Spain? I went with my school to Madrid for a few days (only cost about £300, but we stayed in a cheap hostel, got rather cheap flights, especially since it's about 2 hour flight, and the school payed for much of it as well) and it was pretty fun.

1. gather old stuff that you don't use around the house and ask family members if they have anything you can sell and have a garage sale (expeccailly if you have like a citywide garage sale weekend or something) or one bigger stuff that might be more valuable you could sell on ebay or have ur mom or someone sell them for u!
2.it wont bring in lots of money right away but you could recycle cans they give $ out for recycling cans in some places
3.once again wont bring a lot of $ but anything should help! if you live in a busy area have a lemonade stand or bake good stand!
4.if your good at taking pictures you could take pictures for a family and people and charge so much for ur time and then so much for how many ever picture they buy and what sizes!
5.you could have a pancake feed from like 6-10 or so and charge so much for admission!



that's all i can think of for now i will post more when i think of any more!!
