I am sure that WPE does not run a separate menu for lunch and dinner. I would imagine that the salmon is also one of the menu items which, if it were only available for one menu, would have been on the dinner one but I had it at lunch time there last year. As far as I know the only separate menu they offer is the breakfast one and thereafter it is standard until closing time.
Just reading what the sites menu states.

.This looks like the Wolfgang Puck Cafe menu, which is the table service. WP Express is the counter service and its menu is different than this and they only had one (lunch and dinner the same) the last time we were there.
I dont think so - these definitely seem to be the WPE menus. It depends what site you look at. I think this one came from WDW Info menus. I cross referenced with the Allears.net menus and all items are the same on lunch and dinner menus.
I also have a paper copy of the menu DD brought home for her scrapbook last year and it has all items listed for lunch and dinner. I wonder if it was just an oversight. It makes no sense to remove one or two items from lunch and only make them available for dinner. If they had variations to the menu I would think there would be more items available for dinner that you didn't get at lunch.
Toomanycars, I am not challenging what you have posted at all as it is quite clear that the menu you refer to backs up your statement. I just meant to point out that there are discrepancies at the best of times between info on one site vs another and these are often just omissions or oversights on one of them.
I was looking directly on the Wolfgang Puck restaurant site itself, I hadn't checked any of the Disney menu sites. I had assumed they would know what their own menus are since they are the company. The direct from the horse's mouth thing, you know. Not that companies have never been wrong about their own menus, too, but what they had is exactly the menu we ordered from the last time we were there.
