Spaceship Earth

Hi everyone,

I'm off to Disney in about 10 days (first time in 14 years!) and I was reviewing some of the attractions in Epcot. Can someone tell me what it's like in Spaceship Earth? I've never been in it. Is the ride fast (speed)? Is is a deep incline? Can you see below the car?

This is not an intense ride at all. It is very relaxing if you ask me. It is almost like the tram at Magic Kingdom Tomorrow Land if you ask me.

Hmm how to explain spaceship earth...maybe I'll just answer your questions. It's a slow moving ride. the inclines are steep but not scary and you can't see below the car.

It is a dark slow ride which takes you through the "ages of man." It is not scary at all.

It's a really pleasant and relaxing ride. You slowly travel on a track through the different ages of time while the development of communication is explained to you. Towards the end of the ride you do turn backwards and finish off the ride that way, with one somewhat steep part following that. It's not bad at all though. Even if you don't enjoy the ride subject matter, it'll be nice to get off of your feet and into to AC for a little bit. Have fun!

Space Ship Earth, is a slow relaxing ride, great for a re-charge in the cool AC, as the OP said, there are steep inclines, and the ride is in the dark, OH, don't worry if the ride stops several times, its been doing that for past couple years.

Whenever it was time to get the kids to relax and take a quick nap, we would get on Spaceship Earth.

We love this ride. It is very relaxing and a great place to cool down and rest for a few minutes. Plus it's interesting. Nothing scary here at all.
